Harry Paton hits a shot from the edge of the St Mirren box, but it’s an excellent save from Vaclav Hladky, who manages to get a hand to it to knock it wide.

Quote MessageMotherwell should be out of sight after that first half. It's been all Motherwell at Tynecastle and the home side were booed off at the break
HT: Aberdeen 1-1 St Johnstone

BBC Scotland at Pittodrie Stadium
That Saints goal has certainly silenced Pittodrie. It came at a time when Aberdeen had the lead and looked fairly comfortable.
In truth, there has been nothing really in this game and it could go either way in the second half.

Quote MessageA painful first half for Rangers. Ryan Kent's injury only compounds their problems and they have struggled to make a breakthrough against an impressive Livingston team, who are looking to make it 10 games unbeaten
No goals at Ibrox, but a few chances for the home side, with Alfredo Morelos shooting over and Scott Arfield striking the bar from distance.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard will be more frustrated that Ryan Kent lasted only 40 minutes following his £7m arrival from Liverpool. The winger limped off looking forlorn.
After a rather dramatic opening 45 minutes, both sides go in to the break on level pegging.
County started the game with exceptional control and composure but struggled to make anything of their dominance in possession, aside from a speculative long-range shot from Ewan Henderson.
This allowed St Mirren to slowly but surely get a footing in the match and before long the guests were threatening the County goal.
St Mirren arguably have the momentum now.

It's 0-0 at the break, but Hibs have been by far the better side so far, with new Swedish holding midfielder Melker Hallberg catching the eye with a composed, unfussy display.
There has been some signs of life from Kilmarnock, with Rory McKenzie's effort superbly blocked by Jason Naismith on the stroke of half-time and Dario Del Fabro flashing a header wide from the resulting corner.
Melker Halberg (left) has impressed for the visitors
Aberdeen took the game by the scruff of the neck after a lively St Johnstone start.
They looked to be heading into the break at 1-0 from a Ryan Hedges strike through Zander Clark's legs, but Michael O'Halloran equalised for St Johnstone just before half-time.
Dons goalkeeper Joe Lewis will be disappointed not to have saved the shot from O'Halloran as the match hangs in the balance once more.
Ross County 0-0 St Mirren
There's a tussle in the County penalty box after a free-kick is swung at the back post, which ends in the loose ball landing at the feet of Sean McLoughlin.
The central defender hits the shot and it looks like it's going in, but Jonathan Obika - who is standing on the line - ushers it in and forces the linesman to rule the goal offside.
Tynecastle, typically an imposing cauldron of intimidation for visiting teams, has turned its ire on the hosts as the half-time whistle blows and deafening boos ring out.
Hearts have been desperately poor. They've had 62% possession, but done very little with it.
Motherwell opened the scoring on 20 minutes when Declan Gallagher won a corner with a brilliant long-range shot, saved by Colin Doyle, then squirmed easily free of Sean Clare to nod home the set-piece.
Clare missed a big chance to level for Hearts, but Motherwell have spurned equally enticing opportunities through Liam Polworth and Devante Cole. They're well worth their lead at the break.
As things stand, Hearts are heading for a 14th Premiership game without victory.
Declan Gallager escaped the attentions of Sean Clare to nod home the only goal of the first half
Heart of Midlothian 0-1 Motherwell
Yet another chance for Motherwell, who splinter Hearts on the counter as the home side try to press.
James Scott slides in Liam Polworth, whose attempted chip is far too weak to trouble onrushing goalkeeper Colin Doyle.

Quote MessageFor me, that's an error by Joe Lewis. It takes a little deflection, but he gets his hands to it and should do much better
Rangers 0-0 Livingston
Ryan Kent’s return to Ibrox lasts only 40 minutes, with the winger having to limp off injured. The £7m signing from Liverpool is replaced with Brandon Barker
Michael O'Halloran
Michael O'Halloran found plenty of space at the edge of the box after good play by Scott Tanser down the left side to place his shot - but Joe Lewis will be disappointed he did not save this low shot. Aberdeen looked like they were in complete control of this game until this chance - after a lively opening 10 minutes for the Saints.
Heart of Midlothian 0-1 Motherwell
The Motherwell onslaught continues. Liam Donnelly goes slaloming through the home box, cuts back on his right foot and cannons a shot off the crossbar. Very nearly a ninth goal in as many games for the Northern Irishman.
Hearts are on the ropes.

Quote MessageThat should be 2-0 to Motherwell. It's a good save by Colin Doyle, but Devante Cole has to score
