  3. CLOSE!published at 64 mins

    Rennes 1-1 Celtic

The hosts come within a whisker - and a swish of Fraser Forster's right mitt - as a Grenier howizter about 25 yards from goal speeds wide. It looks like it's a corner, but a goal kick is awarded.

  4. Four changes for Rangerspublished at 19:13

    Rangers v Feyenoord (20:00)

Steven Gerrard makes four changes to the team that beat Livingston 3-1. Filip Helander and Borna Barisic come in for Nikola Katic and Andy Halliday in defence, while the Rangers manager opts for Glen Kamara and Ryan Jack over Joe Aribo and the injured Ryan Kent in midfield.

Their Dutch rivals go for a far more conservative approach: manager Jaap Stam makes just one change from the side that overcame Den Haag 3-2 at the weekend. Right winger Luciano Narsingh is dropped in favour of Steven Berghuis.

A brilliant penalty. The goalkeeper seemed to take an age to stop wiping his face with his towel, I actually thought the referee was going to book him for time-wasting. Fantastic composure from Ryan Christie, no chance of the goalkeeper saving it. Fantastic work from James Forrest to win the penalty.

    Quote Message

It's like Rennes are the away side. They're happy to try to sit back and try to get something on the counter. At the moment it's working because they're winning. But Celtic have to keep going and believe that they can get a chance. They look like they're going to create one and it looks like it's only a matter of time before they take it.

Celtic appeal unsuccessfully for a penalty as Ryan Christie appears to be caught by Gnagnon in the corner of the box.

The penalty has given Rennes a lift because I think Celtic have been every bit as good as them. We're speaking about how good they are at beating PSG and being second in Ligue 1 but I think Celtic have actually been quite comfortable.

    Pat Bonner

I'm sure Neil Lennon will be disappointed because that was a half that they were in control of. But the penalty - everything you want from a defender wasn't there. Kristoffer Ajer got too tight, went with the wrong leg, held his jersey and his hand. How can you do that when the referee is ten yards away from you? It was a stonewall penalty. A horrendous mistake from Ajer.
