    Everton 0-0 Brighton

Big chance for Brighton in the last minute of the first half.

Kayleigh Green almost puts them ahead but it's a smart save by the feet of Everton keeper Tinja-Riikka Korpela to deny her from the edge of the box.

Brighton's first real decent move from back to front all half.

  2. Postpublished at 13:15 Greenwich Mean Time 27 October 2019

    Man Utd 1-0 Reading

There are just a few minutes left until half-time now and the Red Devils still have a slender advantage.

The hosts' youngster Lauren James weaves in to the penalty area brilliantly but her poked ball across the box is booted clear by the Royals.

  3. CLOSE!published at 13:11 Greenwich Mean Time 27 October 2019

    Man Utd 1-0 Reading

Brooke Chaplen does brilliantly to win the ball back and just about keep it in play, but then from a tight angle she goes for goal alone and her effort flies over the bar, when she perhaps had better options in the middle of the box if she'd squared it.

Reading are causing the hosts a few problems though.

  4. Postpublished at 13:09 Greenwich Mean Time 27 October 2019

    Everton 0-0 Brighton

Few more chances starting to be created in this one as we approach the break.

Danielle Bowman has gone close for Brighton with a shot from distance while at the other end, Inessa Kaagman's floated cross almost crept in beyond an outstretched Megan Walsh in the Albion goal.

  5. WATCH: Hanson's strike puts Man Utd aheadpublished at 13:07 Greenwich Mean Time 27 October 2019

    Man Utd 1-0 Reading

In case you're not watching this via the Red Button or the top of this live page - or in case you just want to see it again - here's now Man Utd took the lead through Kirsty Hanson's volley...

  6. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 13:06 Greenwich Mean Time 27 October 2019

    Man Utd 1-0 Reading

Lauren James goes down in the area and United are asking the question... But the ref plays on and Leah Galton fires one over the bar from inside the area.

  7. Postpublished at 13:02 Greenwich Mean Time 27 October 2019

    Man Utd 1-0 Reading

A very loose pass back to United goalkeeper Mary Earps is almost pinched and turned home by Lisa-Marie Utland... But the hosts get away with it as the Reading striker pokes just wide.

    Almost, for the visitors. Almost.

  8. Postpublished at 12:58 Greenwich Mean Time 27 October 2019

    Everton 0-0 Brighton

Still goalless in this one after 25 minutes.

Maya Le Tissier has had the visitors' best chance so far after she blazed a shot over the crossbar.

  9. Postpublished at 12:56

    Man Utd 1-0 Reading

Grace Moloney is going to continue after that knock.

Now, can Reading respond to falling behind?

  10. ouch!

    Man Utd 1-0 Reading

And now the physios are on again, with Reading keeper Grace Moloney down hurt after a collision with Katie Zelem.

Moloney was clearing the ball with a punt upfield and I'd say that should probably have been spotted as a foul by Zelem. She was a bit late on the keeper.

  11. goal

GOAL: Man Utd 1-0 Readingpublished at 12:48 Greenwich Mean Time 27 October 2019

    Kirsty Hanson (16 mins)

Casey Stoney's team have the lead and it's a well-taken goal from Kirsty Hanson, who shows good composure and technique to get her body over a dropping ball and volley home at the far post.

The 21-year-old was in space and fired Leah Galton's left-wing cross past Grace Moloney.

    Man Utd 0-0 Reading

The game at Leigh Sports Village is back under way and thankfully Lisa-Marie Utland is OK. It looks like she'll be carrying on but with some cotton wool in one of her nostrils!

  13. Postpublished at 12:43 Greenwich Mean Time 27 October 2019

    Everton 0-0 Brighton

Very quiet start to this game in the first 10 minutes but the hosts looking the more likely.

Everton's Hannah Cain should have done better when played through on goal but her effort from the edge of the box goes tamely wide of the target.

Inessa Kaagman has also had a sight of goal too, but couldn't quite curl one on target for the Toffees.

  14. ouch!

Postpublished at 12:42 Greenwich Mean Time 27 October 2019

    Man Utd 0-0 Reading

There have been quite a few unfortunate clashes of heads so far and the latest sees Reading's Lisa-Marie Utland down in pain.

There's a pause while the Norway star receives some treatment.

  15. Postpublished at 12:37 Greenwich Mean Time 27 October 2019

    Man Utd 0-0 Reading

Reading are getting stuck in early on and they force the game's first corner, which is headed clear by the hosts.

  16. CLOSE!published at 12:33 Greenwich Mean Time 27 October 2019

Man Utd's Leah Galton - one of the league's most in-form players - immediately gets in to the area and forces a save out of Grace Moloney from close range.
