    Scotland 5-0 San Marino

    Billy Dodds
    Former Scotland striker on Sportsound

    Quote Message

That's some moment for Shankland. He's just in the right position at the right time again. As soon as McTominay takes the shot he just pops himself in to that 10-yard area. It's a great moment for the lad

  9. Shankland's goal a 'stroke of luck'published at 18:25 British Summer Time 13 October 2019

    Scotland 5-0 San Marino

    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio Scotland

    Quote Message

He wasn't going to miss that one. Shankland took the touch and checks with the linesman to make sure it wasn't offside. A great strike for hi, and a stroke of luck in his favour

    Lawrence Shankland

Lawrence Shankland has been quiet since the opening moments but gets his goal.

Scott McTominay's curling drive comes off the crossbar and the Dundee United man is on hand to roll it home. He looks offside, but there's flag.

  13. Postpublished at 59mins

    Scotland 3-0 San Marino

Andrew Robertson's cross-come-shot puts San Marino's goalkeeper in all kind of trouble, but Aldo Junior Simoncini somehow manages to claw it clear just as it looked like it was going to loop over his head.

  14. Postpublished at 58mins

    Scotland 3-0 San Marino

Nicola Nanni has San Marino's second shot on target, but again it's straight at Scotland goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin.

  15. Postpublished at 58mins

    Scotland 3-0 San Marino

It's becoming a bit farcical as the ball is held up by the puddles. There's not much goalmouth action as a result as it becomes bogged down, in more ways than one by the conditions.

  17. What will officials do?published at 18:13 British Summer Time 13 October 2019

    Scotland 3-0 San Marino

    Billy Dodds
    Former Scotland striker on Sportsound

    Quote Message

Only in Scotland. It's incredible. If you look at the trackside, the rain is just torrential and there doesn't look like there are any signs of it stopping either. If it keeps up like this for the next 30 minutes then it will be interesting to see what the officials do

  18. Potentially dangerouspublished at 18:12 British Summer Time 13 October 2019

    Scotland 3-0 San Marino

    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio Scotland

    Quote Message

I think the issue is when it gets dangerous. Whenever the ball comes closer to us, it seems to be holding up. You're hoping the rain will ease just a little bit or the referee is really going to have to think about it. If it gets any worse, it will be dangerous. There are puddles out there

  19. YELLOW CARD Nanni (San Marino)published at 52mins
