The rain continues to fall in South Yorkshire.

Not for the first time Leeds work a nice opening around the edge of the area that comes to nothing.

Head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke earlier this week about how many chances his team are needing to score at the moment.

So far today it's been less an issue of missing chances and more an issue of not making them when in good positions to do so.

    Exeter 0-0 Plymouth

They're under way at a rain-soaked St James Park in the League Two Devon derby.

We'll bring you any significant updates.

Here are some head to head stats for what Plymouth have called the Devon Expressway Derby (it's a new one to us).

Kalvin Phillips wins a free-kick 25 yards out from the Wednesday goal.

The Leeds midfielder dusts himself down and spanks the set piece about 10 yards over the crossbar.

Moments later, Whites full-back Ezgjan Alioski fires a strike over from the angle of the area.

The visitors are just starting to get on top of things here.

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Leeds

Leeds centre-half Ben White shows lovely footwork to get himself into the area after a corner and he thinks he should have a penalty after some contact from Owls striker Atdhe Nuhiu.

It would have been very soft.

Down the other end Leeds win their first corner that the hosts hack clear at the second time of asking.

Leeds striker Eddie Nketiah's definitely kitted out right. To say it's wet in Sheffield is something of an understatement.

The groundstaff have been hard at work at Hillsborough though so there shouldn't be any problems.

Stick with us for the game and we'll also endeavour to keep you updated with any further postponements around the EFL.

Kick off at Hillsborough is two minutes away.

Sheff Wed v Leeds (12:30 BST)

If winning a Yorkshire derby wasn't quite enough, then how about the opportunity to go top of the Championship.

A Leeds victory would take them to the summit - at least until 5pm - while a win by a couple of goals for the Owls takes them to the top.

What a season this is turning into.

  14. Devon derby returnspublished at 12:16 British Summer Time 26 October 2019

    Exeter v Plymouth (13:00 BST)

Two fierce Devon rivals meet each other again this lunchtime for the first time in more than two years.

Plymouth's two-season spell in League One means these two haven't squared off in the league since February 2017 when it went the way of the Pilgrims.

Just three points separate them in the table, but Exeter head into the game following back-to-back losses. Plymouth are unbeaten in their past five.

We'll bring you updates and goal news from St James Park from 13:00 BST.

  18. The best of enemies?published at 12:00 British Summer Time 26 October 2019

Sheff Wed v Leeds (12:30 BST)

    HillsboroughImage source, Rex Features

Good afternoon and welcome to live text coverage of Saturday's EFL action.

To start off with we've got a cracking looking Yorkshire derby at the top of the Championship.

Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds United might not be the fiercest rivalry for either side but in recent years it's a fixture that's thrown up more than it's share of incident and controversy.

However, the derby taking place at Hillsborough probably isn't even the biggest one in the EFL today.

At 13:00 BST Exeter City host Devonian rivals Plymouth in a West Country derby with bragging rights and precious points for a promotion push to the third tier at stake.

Before we look at either of those games though we'll give you a quick update of games that have already fallen foul of the heavy rain we've experienced across the country.
