It's a win and a performance for the football club, we're very much together here. So we should all be very proud of what we've achieved. I know it's only one game but it's a really important game as we know we were representing the city and the community.

Some fine individual performances in the Swansea ranks today. The likes of Wilmot, Grimes, Byers, Routledge and Ayew all made fine contributions. Mendez-Laing was a threat for Cardiff before the break but faded.

Swansea players and staff soak it in at the end. There is a prolonged huddle on the pitch before celebrations with the fans. Cooper is punching the air and tapping his heart in front of the East Stand.

In no way shape or form did Cardiff City deserve to get anything out of this game. Swansea City were by far the better team for me. The Swansea staff and players are all together in a big huddle, that's what it means to them, I didn't see that from Cardiff today. Swansea wanted it more.

I don't think either side played particularly well. Cardiff are bereft of any creativity, it must be a nightmare to be a front player for them at the moment. Swansea just about deserved it.

The celebrations start for the Swansea fans while the Cardiff away end is in stunned silence. Over the course of the game you have to say Swansea probably did edge it, they had numerous chances to finish it off but they only needed one in the end.

That is it. Debry delight for Swansea City. The debutant Ben Wilmot wins it. It's home, sweet home for Steve Cooper as Cardiff City's travel sickness gets a whole lot worse.

Other than five minutes in the middle of the second half Cardiff haven't really threatened that much. It's symptomatic of their season frankly. But Swansea have been back on it today after struggling at home.
