    Brighton 2-2 Everton

Everton are hanging on for a point.

Javel Bleach: All the controversy is about VAR. It should be about the basic concept of the penalty! If the sanction was proportional to the foul, any dispute would be about minutiae.

    West Ham 1-1 Sheff Utd

Lys Mousset tracks back, wins the ball on the left and keeps it in play. Sheffield United then win a corner via Enda Stevens.

    Alan Pardew
Former Southampton and West Ham manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

Fair play to Neal Maupay he kept his head, it is probably a penalty they do not deserve but you still have got to score it tough.

He took his time and he just put it down on the middle of the goal.

    Karen Carney
Former England winger on Final Score

He's made contact with the same foot he was going to bring the ball down with. That's why I thought he was going to give the penalty and VAR eventually did.

Stephen Brogarth: Totally ludicrous decision from VAR against Everton. If the ref goes and watches that then it’s never a penalty. Completely ridiculous. Games gone.

Mel '73: Football is dead with decisions like that

  7. CLOSE!published at 16:44 British Summer Time 26 October 2019

    Watford 0-0 Bournemouth

A fizzing cross evades everyone in the box but Will Hughes does well to win a free-kick on the far side.

Gerard Deulofeu takes it and it flies across the goal again - this time substitute Andre Gray is inches away from connecting at the back post.

    Brighton 2-2 Everton

    Brighton are going for this.

Another mazy run by Steven Alzate but his shot is straight at Jordan Pickford.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:43 British Summer Time 26 October 2019

    West Ham 1-1 Sheff Utd

Robert Snodgrass is gutted to go off. He hangs his head when he sees his number shown and there's a few boos from the crowd.

They are not happy either. It's Albian Ajeti who comes on.

  10. 'Not a penalty'published at 16:41 British Summer Time 26 October 2019

    Brighton 2-2 Everton

    Alan Pardew
Former Southampton and West Ham manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is really a heart-breaking decision, every professional football player would tell you that’s not a penalty.

If that was shown on the big screen would have referee given the penalty?

    I don’t think so.

10 minutes to go. Anyone for a winner? Anyone? Please?

GOAL - Brighton 2-2 Evertonpublished at 16:39 British Summer Time 26 October 2019

    Neal Maupay (penalty)

Right down the middle by Neal Maupay.

Brighton are level with 10 minutes still to go.

This is a right old ding-dong.

  13. PENALTY TO BRIGHTONpublished at 16:38 British Summer Time 26 October 2019

    Neal Maupay versus Jordan Pickford.

  14. CLOSE!published at 16:38 British Summer Time 26 October 2019

    West Ham 1-1 Sheff Utd

    IT'S IN! NO? HOW?

Robert Snodgrass is sliding in at the far post as Pablo Fornals drills a lovely ball across the face of the goal.

All he has to do is touch it into the net. He's literally a yard out but arrives about 1/8 of a second too late and pokes it wide.

Still no idea how he has managed that.

  15. VAR

Video Assistant Refereepublished at 16:37 British Summer Time 26 October 2019

Fantastic finish, on his left foot he just slid it in the bottom corner.

The keeper perhaps is at fault for charging out, but that’s a big goal and big pat on the back for the manager who just made that change.

  17. Postpublished at 16:37 British Summer Time 26 October 2019

    Brighton 1-2 Everton

    Chris Wise
BBC Radio 5 Live at Amex Stadium

Dominic Calvert-Lewin was on pitch about four minutes. Immediate impact when his side needs it most. First time on his left foot, he's rolled it underneath the keeper.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:36 British Summer Time 26 October 2019
