  1. 'We're in a 'difficult' place with VAR'published at 12:30 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2019

I'm starting to feel like VAR needs its own weekly discussion show because after pretty much every round of Premier League games this season it is a talking point.

It once again took centre stage in some of yesterday's games. Liverpool had an equaliser ruled out against Aston Villa because Roberto Firmino's armpit was offside while Frank Lampard was unhappy when Watford were awarded a penalty via VAR as Chelsea beat the Hornets 2-1.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp hailed his side's determination as they scored two late goals to beat Aston Villa 2-1.

Bielsa being seen out and about reminds me of the time he was spotted doing his weekly shop in his Leeds top.

One day after guiding Leeds back to the top of the Championship, Marcelo Bielsa has decided to spend his Sunday taking in a bit of hockey.

He's down in London giving the Chile players a bit of a pep talk for their Olympic Hockey Qualifier against Great Britain.

Leaders Liverpool and defending champions Manchester City both staged stunning late fightbacks to win on a dramatic day.

Liverpool looked set to suffer their first defeat of the season at Aston Villa, trailing to Trezeguet's early goal as the game headed into the closing stages.

Andy Robertson headed in an 87th-minute equaliser before Sadio Mane clinched a 2-1 victory four minutes into stoppage time from Trent Alexander-Arnold's corner.

Title rivals City also fell behind early on against Southampton, but the visitors' resistance was broken on 70 minutes by Sergio Aguero, and Kyle Walker scored with four minutes left to clinch a 2-1 victory.

In the early kick-off, Bournemouth won 1-0 to end Manchester United's three-match winning run, with ex-United trainee Joshua King scoring on the stroke of half-time, while Arsenal drew 1-1 with Wolves later in the afternoon.

After an eight-game extravaganza on Saturday there's just the two games today but they are intriguing fixtures none-the-less.

Crystal Palace host in-form Leicester at 14:00 GMT where a win for Palace will see them leap above Arsenal into fifth. A win for the Foxes, meanwhile, will send them third.

Then at 16:30 GMT it is the battle of the (somewhat) under pressure managers as Marco Silva's Everton hosts Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham.

You can listen to both games on BBC Radio 5 live.
