Wilfried Ndidi is up on his feet and looks OK. Palace play on.

Things have settled down after an end-to-end start. Did I put the mockers on things by suggesting there looked to be goals in this one...?

Some concern for Leicester here with Wilfred Ndidi down injured. He got in a tangle with Joel Ward.

Jonny Evans sends a header from a corner just over the bar.

Leicester starting to flex their muscles now.

What about this for a ball!

Harvey Barnes, from inside his own half, plays an excellent ball for Jamie Vardy to get on to. The forward does beat his marker to it but can't beat Vicente Guaita at his near post.

That's Leicester, though, capable of fashioning something from nothing.

Just seeing replays of that Ben Chilwell cross and it grazed James McArthur's fingers on its way in. It seemed as though referee Paul Tierney had a think about looking further into it before quickly carrying on with the game.

Ben Chilwell fires in a cross as Leicester come forward again but Crystal Palace have plenty of bodies in the box and head away.

Lovely stuff from Wilfried Zaha as he flicks a perfect pass with the outside of his boot to give Jordan Ayew a sight of goal but the Palace forward fires well over the bar.

How Leicester play will sit into the hands of Crystal Palace today. Palace like to sit deep and attack on the break whereas Leicester like to keep possession. I think this will help Palace. Both sides love to counter, it could be end-to-end.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Leicester

Patrick van Aanholt floats a free-kick into the box for Palace but it is easy pickings for Kasper Schmeichel.

Very open start, feels like we should see a few goals in this one.

  11. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Leicester

High tempo start to this game with both teams quick to close down the player in possession.

One such bit of pressure results in Palace giving the ball away and Leicester breaking quickly though Youri Tielemans, who races towards the box before squaring to Harvey Barnes, but his shot is straight at the keeper.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Leicester

Jeffrey Schlupp pings a ball out wide for Joel Ward, who is in loads of space on the right side of the pitch but his first touch is poor and the ball goes out of play.

Looks to be lots of space on the flanks for Palace to play with, though.

Leicester need to be attacking those wide channels against this Palace side who play very narrow. Gonna be a cracker.

Jamie Vardy has scored 18 goals in his 20 Premier League appearances under Brendan Rodgers - the only player to score more goals in their first 20 games for a manager is Kevin Phillips under Peter Reid (19 goals in 1999/2000).
