Clearly Quique Sanches Flores has a tactic here and he has told Daryl Janmaat to push on.

Watford struggled to deal with Onel Hernandez in the first half, and now Christian Kabasele has gone into the book for a foul on the Norwich winger.

Kabasele is going to have to be very, very careful now.

An early chance for Abdoulaye Doucoure to double his side's advantage, but this time Watford have to settle for an early corner.

Deulofeu's ball in fails to clear the first post, but it's another bright start for the Hornets.

Norwich need a bit more cuteness around the box. If you are Teemu Pukki you will be getting frustrated but it will come for him if he keeps going.

Huge half for both sides!

I mentioned during that first half the problems Onel Hernandez has been causing Watford's defence - and in particular right-back Daryl Janmaat.

Hernandez has been playing extremely high so far, with his average position actually further forward than talisman Teemu Pukki.

Can he make the difference in the second half?

Norwich have taken a while to find their stride. But since that early goal they have created multiple chances to equalise.

Because it's never too early in the season for an 'as it stands' table...

Things look much healthier for Watford at the break, but they're a long way from wrapping up a potentially crucial three points here.

In the first 15 minutes Norwich were outplayed. But they have just got better and better.

It has all come down the left with Hernandez's pace. If he keeps on getting that space he will continue to be a massive danger. They deserve to be level but they are not and that's sometimes how it goes when you are down near the bottom.

With that, Watford lead at half-time in the Premier League for just the second time this season.

Norwich, meanwhile, have lost 28 of their last 29 top-flight matches when losing at the break. They drew the other, against Everton in December 2015.

It's all Norwich at the end of the first half, with all the play taking place around the visitor's penalty area.

But the hosts can't force a way through the Watford defence as the whistle goes for the interval.

Gerard Deulofeu's second-minute strike remains the difference.

Three minutes will be added on at the end of the first half.

Great play from Norwich again. This time it's down the right as Marco Stiepermann works his way into the box before cutting the ball back for Teemu Pukki.

But Pukki is quickly closed down, as he has been all half, before he is able to pick his spot.

Gerard Deulofeu is down receiving treatment now, after being whacked on the back of the head by the ball.

Gerard Deulofeu is so frustrating. The amount of times he plays the ball and just stands. You have to play the ball and move.

Sometimes it is the right thing to do but not as many times as he does it. The guy is a very good player. He is not very far away from being a great player.

Norwich certainly look the more likely to score next as we edge towards half-time.

But despite all the end-to-end action so far each side has only had one shot on target so far.

Daryl Janmaat has to stay back now on Onel Hernandez. Christian Kabasele being a centre-back does not want to have to keep going out to play right-back.

Onel Hernandez battles with Christian Kabasele once more, but this time Kabasele comes out on top and draws a foul.

Watford completely waste the opportunity to keep the ball away from their goal, as Norwich bring the ball forward down the left.

Teemu Pukki picks out the run of Emi Buendia, the Argentine sprinting towards the edge of the penalty area, but he fails to test Ben Foster as he blasts a shot over.

Daryl Janmaat is caught out of position, forcing Christian Kabasele to race out to Onel Hernandez.

Kabasele can't handle Hernandez's quick feet any better than Janmaat has so far, though, allowing Hernandez to deliver a wicked cross onto the head of Kenny McLean who heads just over the bar.

Watford need to tighten up on their right before they get punished...
