At Hand: Tim Krul is not any other goalkeeper

    I don't know what Freddie's doing playing 3 defenders; Arsenal couldn't keep a clean sheet with 10.

Arsenal are pressing more aggressively, they are moving the ball with more pace

But when they go forward there’s still that vulnerability at the back and Norwich have set up to hit Arsenal with the counter-attack.

    Norwich 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal are playing some great football in East Anglia.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang brings the ball down to the byeline and finds the Calum Chambers, whose shot is blocked.

From the resulting corner Onel Hernandez clears Shkodran Mustafi's header off the line!

    Freddie must be purring.

What a save by Krul: the first shot came from Willock it was blocked and it came to Lacazette who just just stabs his shot into the grount and Krul manages to get his fingertips to it and palms it away

But you can see straightaway the energy Arsenal are going with it.

Alistair: So... neither Emery or Freddie trust Pepe. What the hell did we spend £72 million on? Loving bringing Xhaka back though. He's shown more passion than all the other players bar Sokratis put together! 500+ more passes attempted than any other player.

Paul: Freddie putting out an Unai Emery lineup just to prove Emery was the problem and not the lineup. You love to see it.

  8. CLOSE!published at 14:06 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2019

    Norwich 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal play the ball out of their own area brilliantly after a tiny spell of pressure and then find themselves in the Norwich area.

Joe Willock tries to get a shot away but it's blocked before Alexandre Lacazette scuffs an effort from eight yards - had he made good contact that surely would have been 1-0 to the Gunners.

Shocking start by Wolves who were caught completely cold at the back.

Sheffield United are back up to fifth - above Tottenham - in the table as it stands.

    Lys Mousset

What on earth is Wolves' defence playing at?

Lys Mousset has all the time in the world to bury the ball in the back of the net after George Baldock's cross during the game's first attack.

    The Blades lead.

Joe: Sort of wish Martin Keown would come in to Arsenal fold. The man talks sense!!

"Ibrahim [Amadou] deserves [to play]. I can always count on him and he brings a physical strength to our game. I don’t have to make too many other changes to the team [by selecting him there]."

I did not see Freddie Ljungberg as someone who could go into management: when we played together he was quite an individualist but he was very competitive.

It surprised me when he went into management but he’s a very determined young man.

Arsenal need really go for it today, we need to see a really good performance. Today is a huge day for Arsenal and I hope Freddie is up to the task.

It is also up to Ozil to get the best from himself: it would be very interesting to see if Freddie can get his ideas back into the team overnight.

"We are confident but not arrogant. The Premier League is ruthless and relentless, and if we aren't at it today we will get found out. We've done a lot of things right on the road and we will have to do that again."

Ben: What a shame Freddie has not put Luiz in midfield. Best (and last) move made by Emery. Can’t help feeling his lineup is still too thin defensively...

Ozil getting a start. All it took was Emery to be sacked.
