It is important now that Bournemouth stretch the game to allow Palace to run around, and then penetrate through. It is a long way for Palace to go to keep a clean sheet.

Bournemouth have a free-kick and they almost take advantage as Palace are all over the shop at the back, the ball ricochets around and Chris Mepham hits a shot straight at Vicente Guaita.

It was a definite red card and it has probably summed up Mamadou Sakho's performance in the first 19 minutes.

He has been all over the place and it's a reckless challenge. He wins the ball but it's the follow through which is dangerous.

Midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate moves into the centre of the Palace defence. Roy Hodgson's side have to play 70 minutes with 10 men.

That's the first big moment of the night and it's a red card for Mamadou Sakho! The Palace defender is back from injury and he's looked a bit rusty. He takes a bad touch, wins the ball but then in his follow-through catches Adam Smith high, really high.

It's above Smith's knee. That's a red card all day long surely.

I think that was a bit harsh. Mamadou Sakho misjudged the ball and was in a bit of trouble but the linesman gave a foul against Wilson.

How strong is Callum Wilson? He barges over Mamadou Sakho who is built like a semi-detached house. Referee Anthony Taylor penalises the England man which is a touch harsh.

Burnley

Burnley manager Sean Dyche, speaking to Amazon: The quality of Manchester City is still there - even with four changes to their side, they're still healthy changes.

"City have had a few things go against them this season, like injuries, but they are still a top side and we need to perform.

"We've made a few mistakes lately, against the big guns, that we can't make again. We have to deal with their passages of play while making the most of what we can do going forward.

"I'm just looking for a good performance from our lads and let's see what happens."

Great footwork by Andros Townsend and Wilfried Zaha wins a corner. More pressure on Bournemouth's goal.

Palace putting on some pressure now as Andros Townsend teases in a cross which Wilf Zaha tries to convert, his shot is eventually blocked and that's another corner for Bournemouth to defend. Phil Billing heads it away.

James McArthur brings the ball down at the edge of the D and hits a volley - well wide.

A decent tempo to this opening from both sides, bright on the ball so far. Wilf Zaha gets the ball on the edge of the area and sends in Patrick van Aanholt, he cuts it back but it's well defended. Corner.

That was a terrible corner, Harry Wilson finding Andros Townsend on the edge of the area and giving the hosts a chance to counter. Nothing doing though.

Philip Billing wins a header in midfield as he should do, he's an absolute giant of a man. Languid style, moves the ball down the left as Bournemouth win a throw in the corner, and then a corner. Send up the big men!
