That was a lack of experience there and Chris Mepham has started sluggishly, He took too long on the ball.
It has been a bright start by Palace.

I can't agree with the KO time criticism, I think it's great as we get to watch the first half of one game and then the full second game. More football!

Slick start from the hosts as Jordan Ayew steals the ball off Chris Mepham and the Wales defender has to foul his man. Dangerous area for Palace this.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, speaking to Amazon: "We will try to win the game. Burnley away is always Burnley away, so we will just try to win.
"We makes changes all through the season to the team so I am happy we are prepared.
"It was a miracle we didn't concede one corner here last season. We were so focused and with three games left, at the time, we knew what we were playing for.
"My players are incredible. You have ups and downs and sometimes you are not at your best, but that is football. These players are incredible for me."

Palace are close to Bournemouth and these are the games they will be looking to win to push up the league. Bournemouth are a good passing team so we are expecting a good match.
Harry Wilson showed his ability for Derby last season and hopefully we can see another one of his free-kicks tonight.

The lights aren't working in the Man City dressing room! Lovely stuff. They've had to bring in some of the TV lights.
Is that the first time Sean Dyche has ever not started with a 4-4-2 at Burnley? He's embraced the new digital era.
Burnley v Man City (20:15 GMT)
Burnley manager Sean Dyche mixes things up today. Danny Drinkwater makes his Premier League debut for the club, while Aaron Lennon makes his first start since mid-September.
Ashley Barnes makes a rare appearance on the bench.
Erik Pieters is also in as they make three changes from a 2-0 defeat by Crystal Palace, replacing Charlie Taylor. Robbie Brady drops to the bench.

Manchester City make four changes from the 2-2 draw with Newcastle. Angelino and Nicolas Otamendi are in at the back, with Rodri starting in midfield and Bernardo Silva further forward.

Andy: Love it, NFL have been doing it for years and cashing in.
Joseph: Great value for money but really nothing beats the real thing. The smell of the burgers, cheesy chips, the sound of stands creaking when your team are attacking the home goal. Eighth or ninth tier all better than watching the Premier league on TV because it's real & you're there experiencing it.
Burnley v Manchester City (20:15 GMT)
Burnley
There's a Premier League debut for Burnley for midfielder Danny Drinkwater - remember him? - who plays his first league game since March 2018.
Erik Pieters and Aaron Lennon also start as the Clarets go with just Chris Wood up front.
City make four changes as Otamendi, Angelino, Rodri and Bernardo Silva come in.
We can all agree that a 20:15 GMT kick-off time is RUBBISH. It's only half an hour but it all adds up. Newspaper journalists have already had to file their Burnley - City reports.

Wyatt: The mrs pays for Prime so it doesn’t cost me anything, so happy days.
David: 8.15 ko is too late; another example of not considering the match-day fan.
Richard: I think it’s probably the future for clubs, a new “season ticket” style streaming service for your team.
It is an anomaly that when one broadcaster had the monopoly on all football on TV it was a better deal for the consumer, right? It feels that way anyway.
We could always put every game on BBC Two.

Your average family can't pay for Sky, BT, Prime and whatever other broadcasters are going to want a slice of the pie. If the competition of broadcasters lowered prices it would be great, but they all keep on hiking their prices!

We'll have team news from Turf Moor for you very soon. These kick-off times are going to be the biggest headache of the night for me.
Burnley v Manchester City (20:15 GMT)
Steve Bower
Match of the Day commentator
The last time the current champions visited Turf Moor was in late April, when a scrappy 1-0 win took them back to the top of the table with two games remaining. City return to Lancashire with a staggering distance of 11 points between them and the summit.
The immediate aim is all about a victory to try and kick-start a winning run. They only dropped points in six matches throughout last season, but have lost them in five already during this campaign.
Burnley will be aware of City's determination to provide a reaction. The Clarets are in far better shape than a year ago but have lost four of their last six games. They will certainly ask questions of City's current state of mind.
