  10. goal

GOAL - Liverpool 4-2 Evertonpublished at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2019

    Richarlison (45 mins)

    What a game!

    Liverpool 4-1 Everton

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City midfielder on BBC 5 Live Sports Extra

A masterclass from Saido Mane. He started in his own half and he just caresses the ball past Pickford. It's a brilliant finish, again, and it's clinical from Liverpool.

Jordan Pickford has got to save it. He'll be disappointed with that.

  12. Postpublished at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2019

    Chelsea 2-1 Aston Villa

  14. goal

GOAL - Liverpool 4-1 Evertonpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2019

    Sadio Mane (45 mins)

Everton have conceded three goals on the counter attack at Anfield. Not a good look.

An Everton corner is headed clear and Trent Alexander-Arnold sprints down the left of the pitch, before finding Sadio Mane inside. He has two assists to his name already and gets a goal too, beating Jordan Pickford from 20 yards.

Should the England number one do better there? Yes. But he's not alone.

  15. CLOSE!published at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2019

And that is much better - what a ball in by Richarlison, right across the goalmouth and it comes off Dejan Lovren and flies inches wide of the far corner!

  16. Postpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2019

    Man Utd 2-1 Spurs

Chance for Daniel James but his effort is turned around the post by Paulo Gazzaniga.

  20. Postpublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2019

    Man Utd 2-1 Spurs

United would be up to sixth as things stand, above Spurs in the table.

That is the position they were in when they binned off Jose Mourinho.
