A minute later, Dele Alli is clean through and has Son for company but just before he can either shoot or pass to the South Korean, James Tarkowski slides in to put him off. The ball dribbles out for a goal-kick.

A moment for Bournemouth as Naby Keita is dispossessed by Jefferson Lerma, who races into the box before passing to Callum Wilson. The forward twists and turns but eventually runs the ball out of play.

Liverpool may be dominating possession but they are yet to produce the fast-flowing attacking football they are capable of.

This game is not a great watch at the moment.

Sarr has some serious wheels on him. He blazes away down the right and his cross is a decent one but diverted away from the box and onrushing team-mates by a Palace head.

Oh, close. Sarr's effort is deflected wide for a corner. Gerard Deulofeu delivers but over everyone and out for a throw. Waste of some pressure.

Bournemouth gain possession in the middle but Philip Billing immediately wastes it with an attempt at a cross field ball that ends up closer to Alisson.

The hosts are looking to avoid a fifth consecutive defeat and are playing very cautiously.

Watford haven't scored in the league from open play since mid-September, against Arsenal.

They've not properly threatened to break that run in these opening stages.

In fact, as I type, Palace have the first chance with James McArthur slicing a volley wide.

Clever effort by Mohamed Salah. The forward is picked out inside the area by Joe Gomez, Salah is in so much space and is given the time to pick his shot but the effort lacks power and Aaron Ramsdale plucks the ball out of the air.

Spurs are going for an early kill. Serge Aurier's cross is headed out before Kane's effort is diverted wide.

Joe Gomez curls the ball into the box as Liverpool to continue to dominate the early stages. Chris Mepham heads away but the visitors pick the ball up and start their attack again.

I like the Crystal Palace team but I would like to see more from Wilfried Zaha. I see too many games where he doesn't get the ball and he sits out on the left.

When he gets the ball he is a pleasure to watch and he can destroy teams.

Liverpool, as you'd expect, press high up the pitch in the first few minutes, putting Bournemouth under immediate pressure.

Tottenham quickly out of the blocks. Son's low driven cross fails to find it's target, though.

Watford are absolutely desperate for a win and they start well, with Ismaila Sarr almost bullying his way to a shot on goal before James McArthur charges in to clear.
