Three cracking tackles in the first minute. Get stuck in.

Aaron Mooy then with a lovely turn as Brighton win an early corner. If he was quicker he'd have been a really very good Premier League midfielder indeed, in my opinion

Speaking of madness, Dominic Solanke has one Premier League goal in 48 appearances. He's a striker!

A £19m one at that. Jean-Claude Darcheville has two Premier League goals to his name...

Former England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

You can't rely on Leicester and Manchester City not to lose anyway, they are both inconsistent. It's done, Liverpool will win the league and it's a battle for second. It's crazy to say before New Year that it's over, it's madness.

Liverpool haven't even played that well this season. They remind me a basketball team, who just turn it on in the final quarter, they just turn it on when they need to.

Former Blackburn midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

I think the title race is over. Looking at the result last night, the gap is too big. Liverpool haven't lost since January. I just can't see them losing at all, let alone three or four games which is what it would take for Leicester or Manchester City to catch them. For me, it's done.

What's the cut-off date for wearing Christmas jumpers? A fair few in the stands down at Brighton.

So close and competitive, or just very mediocre?

For a few reasons this is the season I have seen the least of in the Premier League era and I don't feel like I've missed much. Fair?

Looking at Prem table, can't believe that Chelsea in 4th are same number of points away from Watford on bottom of table as Liverpool on top!! Unbelievable. Gotta be a first at half way through season. Shows both Liverpool's dominance and that apart from them the league is so close & competitive this year.

    West Ham in trouble?

    These two early teams?

Should Watford and Norwich lose today it's looking a long way back already...

Liverpool's players may be going full Macbeth on this one but can we safely say the title is decided now?

Until it's done and you're lifting that trophy, you can't get in that mindset that you think it's done. I don't think you'll get any Liverpool players saying they've won the league.

Brighton v Bournemouth - a derby, no. But certainly has had its spice over the years. I like to call it the 'Battle of the Beaches' . Prior to redevelopment, Dean Court's (or to use its current incarnation, Vitality Stadium) away end was called the Brighton Beach End on account of it being built on a load of old rocks, stones & debris...

Watford v Aston Villa (15:00 GMT)

This is probably the game of the day.

19th v 18th, and if Villa get the win they would be a whopping eight points ahead of Watford. All but safe?

Should Watford win then, well, you can do the maths...
