Yeah he's grand and back onto the pitch jogs Ashley Young.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka was sent off to warm up as a precaution but is now back snuggled in the relative warmth of the dugout.

Oof. Ashley Young lands awkwardly after challenging for the ball and appears to have hurt is back. He's receiving a bit of treatment, but doesn't look in too much discomfort.

    Burnley 0-0 Man Utd

All very steady in these opening exchanges, passing from both sides could be better as Ashley Young thumps a ball down field to no-one and Nick Pope responds with a hopeful hoof back up the other end.

    Burnley 0-0 Man Utd

Harry Maguire sends Ben Mee tumbling to the floor and Burnley have an early free kick.

The ref's whistle going so early for a foul will bring back bad memories for Maguire. He was sent off after just three minutes here with Leicester last season.

Right, I have a stinking cold so no VAR shenanigans in this one please. Let's just have a nice old fashioned game of football.

  6. 'The manager is disappointed'published at 19:44 Greenwich Mean Time 28 December 2019

FT: West Ham United 1-2 Leicester City

    West Ham United

West Ham United keeper Lukasz Fabianski: "It's disappointing that we haven't managed to get something from the game. Looking back, it took us a bit to get going in the game and get any fluency. Leicester dominated the first part, we struggled to keep possession. We had a good spell at the end of the first half, the second half seemed quite equal to me but they were more precise at taking their chances.

"Playing at home, that's where we should get the most points. Manuel [Pellegrini] is disappointed with the performances, especially at home, for some while we haven't managed to get anything here. That's where we should be stronger and be able to improve.

On the penalty save: "I like to remember anything from the analysis I've done before the game. Normally their penalty taker is Jamie Vardy so I had to try remember their other penalty takers and Gray has a tendency to go to one corner so I remembered that and managed to save it."

On Declan Rice captaining the side today: "It's great for him to captain us today, for such a great club, it's a great experience for him. The boys tried really hard today, pushing, especially in the second half to try and get back in the game. We have to remember Leicester are a really good side."

  7. 'Our mistakes are match after match'published at 19:42 Greenwich Mean Time 28 December 2019

    FT: Norwich 2-2 Tottenham

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho, speaking to Sky Sports: "I think the same defensive mistakes we made in the first half, we made in the second half. This is being a little bit of our history.

"We conceded two very bad goals. Our defensive mistakes are match after match.

"I have lots of work to do but it has been difficult because I always say you have to try and hide your fragilities. We have to improve defensively because there are too many individual mistakes. That's very frustrating because we play well and cannot be more offensive than we were in the second half.

"Norwich defended with their souls and their lives."

On Christian Eriksen's future: "I don't want to speak about it. We are so open with one another. We keep it to ourselves. Obviously I share it with my boss. But its just between us. The only thing I can say is he is trying to help the team and I am happy with his man- of-the-match."

A win tonight will take Manchester United to within a point of the top four ahead of Chelsea's London derby at Arsenal tomorrow.

In his press briefing ahead of the game, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke of his confidence at United returning to the Champions League next season.

To do that, they need to start winning matches like this one.

Burnley's first ever Premier League goal came against Manchester United at the end of the last decade, Robbie Blake scoring the only goal of the game to send Turf Moor wild.

The Clarets have gone on to establish themselves as Premier League regulars in the 10 years since and another win against United today will further strengthen their place in mid table.

Former Chelsea and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Sean Dyche has been brilliant for Burnley. It's overlooked every time they stay in the Premier League.

They are the opposite to Manchester United, they are consistent. They just keep on doing what they're doing.

If Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could take a little bit of what Burnley have and put it in his team he'd be delighted.

  11. 'We've been playing well but haven't been getting results'published at 19:35 Greenwich Mean Time 28 December 2019

    FT: Norwich 2-2 Tottenham

    Norwich City

Norwich striker Teemu Pukki, speaking to Sky Sports: “Against top teams it’s always good to get at least one point. We were leading so we’re frustrated that we couldn't get more out of it.

"We’ve been playing quite well lately but we haven’t got the results. It was important to get at least one point today but now we have to look to the next game."

On Serge Aurier's own goal: "I wasn't happy with my first touch, but they did the rest!"

  12. 'The fresh team paid off'published at 19:32 Greenwich Mean Time 28 December 2019

FT: West Ham United 1-2 Leicester City

    Leicester City

Leicester City matchwinner Demari Gray: "We were control for a lot of it. We let them back in it with the goal at the end of the first half but overall we controlled the game, we put out a fresh team but it paid off.

"I was fine taking the penalty, I'm not really nervous in that situation. Those things happen but it was important to react properly and I did and I got the goal and I was happy. It always means a lot to score and most importantly we got the three points at the end."

On Leicester's aspirations: "We haven't spoke about the title race or the top four, we just take each game as it comes and try and get three points and see where we are at the end of the season."

On not playing regularly: "Anytime you come in if you're not playing so much you have to try and stamp your mark and get yourself in the team. We knew it was a quick turnaround and we knew we'd need a fresh XI but it just shows the quality and depth we've got in the team."

Burnley v Manchester United (19:45 GMT)

    Rob Green
Former Chelsea and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must be walking into the dressing room and saying 'this is down to you boys. If you want to be as good as you were against Newcastle you can be or if you want to be as bad as you were against Watford you can be'.

He needs a leader in the dressing room. It's a massive learning curve for him.

  14. 'Fresh legs coming in'published at 19:29 Greenwich Mean Time 28 December 2019

Burnley v Man Utd (19:45 GMT)

    Manchester United

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on his team selection: "It is a quick turnaround. We have had some players playing quite a bit. Fresh legs coming in.

"We've looked at Scott (McTominay) but we haven't done the full scan yet. Over the weekend we will know more. It didn't look good but we hope he's going to heal quickly.

"Paul (Pogba) has played two games now and has been out for a while so we didn't feel it was right for him to participate today."
