    Hamilton 0-0 Aberdeen

Big chances at either end already in this one.

First Aberdeen break at pace through Niall McGinn. His brilliant cross is expertly touched down by Sam Cosgrove, who then kicks the air with the goal gaping.

Accies then race down the other end through Mickel Miller, whose shot is well saved by Joe Lewis.

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at McDiarmid Park

A lively start by Hearts, playing some really nice stuff, and Saints central defenders Jason Kerr and Wallace Duffy look like they are going to have their hands full against big Uche Ikpeazu, who really looks in the mood

I can't believe Ojo's not scored. It's kind of come off his heel, he's at the angle 10 yards out on the right hand and he should have just slammed it past the goalkeeper. The goalkeeper was right across at the front of the box, showing all the goal and it was like slow motion off his heel and canons off the right hand post. A big let off for Ross County

Kilmarnock are running out of defenders...

The visitors are still waiting to learn the full extent of the hamstring injury suffered by defender Stuart Findlay at the weekend.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 19:51 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2019

    Ross County 0-0 Rangers

And after that positive start by Ross County, it's Rangers who should be in front. Ryan Jack robs Lewis Spence in midfield, charges forward and slips it to Glen Kamara, who in turns slides in Sheyi Ojo. But the on-loan Liverpool winger's effort across goal comes off the post!

  8. CLOSE!published at 19:50 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2019

    Hibs 0-0 Livingston

First chance of the game falls to Livingston as Scott Pittman sees a shot cleared off the line. The midfielder skips by Lewis Stevenson and Paul Hanlon before seeing a left footed shot cleared off the line by Ryan Porteous.

  9. Strong Staggies Startpublished at 19:48 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2019

    Ross County 0-0 Rangers

It's been a positive start by Ross County. Ross Stewart and Sean Kelly combine well down the left, then a free-kick causes a bit of panic in the Rangers box before they eventually clear. Connor Goldson and Filip Helander have both made errors in these early exchanges.

    Motherwell vs Kilmarnock

A late change for Kilmarnock as Dario Del Fabro pulls up in the warm up. He had been a doubt with a hamstring niggle. He’ll be replaced by Connor Johnson.

  13. Rice backs young guns to shinepublished at 19:44 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2019

    Hamilton v Aberdeen (19:45)

Hamilton manager Brian Rice on BBC Sportsound: "Three enforced changes – it’s an opportunity for younger players to come in and stake a claim. They're energetic, enthusiastic and have good ability so it’s a platform for them to go and play tonight.

"I’ve got a 17-year-old and a 20-year-old in there at the back but I have no qualms about playing them. There may be a bit of nerves with the young ones but I have every faith in them and if they can perform tonight they may stay in the team."

  14. 'New deal will settle Forrest down' - Lennonpublished at 19:42 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2019

    Celtic v St Mirren (19:45)

Celtic manager Neil Lennon says winger James Forrest's new four-year deal is "great business" for the club.

He tells BBC Sportsound: "James is really kicking on. He's always had goals in him but his finishing now is of a very high order and the volume is very pleasing.

"It's not just goals he brings - he's a threat all the time, good with both feet and real pace. He's been wanting a new deal done, so it will settle him down again and hopefully we see the best of him in the next four years."

And on handing Greg Taylor a long-awaited debut, Lennon added: "He has had to be patient. He's been in the club for a couple of months now and trained very well, so hopefully he can take it into the game."

  15. 'Same team, same peformance and another three points' - Wrightpublished at 19:41 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2019

    St Johnstone v Hearts (19:45)

St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright has gone with the same starting XI that beat Hamilton 3-2 on Saturday.

"I just felt that everyone played so well on Saturday," he says. "There were a few niggles that concerned us after the game but everybody was okay and were able to train yesterday. So the same team and hopefully the same time of performance and another three points."

  16. 'Things beginning to look rosier' for Heartspublished at 19:40 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2019

    St Johnstone v Hearts (19:45)

Hearts manager Craig Levein has taken confidence from seeing a number of players return to his squad after spending time out injured. Aidan White and Loic Damour are back in the starting XI, while Jamie Walker has a spot on the bench. And the Hearts manager believes a return for Steve Naismith isn't far off either.

Speaking to BBC Scotland, he says: “He [Jamie Walker] has made good progress. He’s ahead of Steven [Naismith] at this time in training so it’s good to get him back. He’s not 100% but he’s fit, he’s done a decent level of training and I’m hoping that if we need him he can help us.

“Steven is back and Loic Damour, who has been out for three weeks, is back. Aidan White is back after a concussion short-term injury. It didn’t help when it was added to the other problems. I’m pleased with the fact that things are starting to look a little rosier.”

  17. Aberdeen 'have a point to prove'published at 19:38 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2019

    Hamilton v Aberdeen (19:45)

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes on BBC Sportsound: "We’ll have to work extremely hard to get a win tonight, and even if we do we won’t feel much better about ourselves after Sunday.

"The response has to be there. We can’t do anything about Sunday now. Now we have a chance to win a game and feel better about ourselves and try to show the supporters that there is belief and confidence within the team, that there is an aggressive team there."

  18. 'Talk is cheap, it's about actions' - Heckingbottompublished at 19:37 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2019

    Hibs v Livingston (19:45)

Hibs manager Paul Heckingbottom tells BBC Sportsound: "The four changes for tonight is more to do with how Livingston set up. They are very difficult to break down, and I think they are a better team this season. For me, they've been playing more football, but they're not embarrassed to win a game in any way, shape or form."

When asked if time is running out on his tenure, he adds: "It's only wins that'll change that, and no one gets as frustrated or down as the manager. I know we're well capable of winning tonight. Regardless of results you look at performances and no one can tell me we haven't deserved to win some of those games. The only thing we can't do is go on the pitch and finish the game for them, as much as you want to do it sometimes. We'll see what the response from the players is tonight. Talk is cheap, it's about actions."

    Ross County v Rangers (19:45)

Ross County co-manager Stuart Kettlewell tells BBC Sportsound: "There will be more people inside the stadium than live in Dingwall. That tells you how far we have come. It's an opportunity for the players to make it a huge night for the club."

The population of Dingwall is around 5,500, if you're interested...

  20. What next from up and down Dons?published at 19:35 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2019

    Hamilton Academical v Aberdeen (19:45)

Aberdeen followed their best performance of the season, a 3-0 win at Fir Park, with their worst - Sunday's 4-0 drubbing from Celtic at Pittodrie.

Manager Derek McInnes said he was embarrassed by the first-half capitulation, so surely we will see a reaction this evening?

However, Hamilton rarely roll over at home and they stunned the Dons 2-0 at Pittodrie when the sides last met, back in February; George Oakley firing in a Marco van Basten- like finish from near the byline.

Aberdeen, unbeaten in three on the Accies' plastic, have kept three clean sheets across their last four away league games but did conceded five in the other at Ibrox.
