Man City have failed to score a first half goal in six of their last eight home Premier League games.

Having scored five in the first half against Watford in September, Man City have since managed just four first half goals in eight home league matches.

Only Alan Shearer (56), Frank Lampard (43) and Steven Gerrard (32) have scored more Premier League penalties than Mark Noble, who is level with Sergio Aguero on 26.

The City fans around me are distinctly unimpressed by the announcement there will only be two minutes of added time after those lengthy VAR delays earlier.

Norwich defender Christoph Zimmermann gets himself into a right mess as he tries to deal with a long ball and gets booked for wrestling Jordan Ayew to the ground. Ayew could have been in otherwise, it was a foul which was needed.

Seamus Coleman's early shot remains the only touch Everton have had in the City area in the first 40 minutes and his side's only effort at goal, but the Toffees have done a pretty good job of keeping the home side quiet at the other end too.

Carlo Ancelotti has packed the middle of the pitch and there is no way through the middle for City - Benjamin Mendy and his rampaging runs forward down the left remain their best attacking outlet as we approach the break.

The last time West Ham scored three goals in a game was on 24 August against Watford in a 3-1 win.
