    Man Utd 0-0 Norwich

How did Marcus Rashford get through there?!

Serious showboating from the England forward to flip-flap the ball around Sam Byram in the area, before trying to cut it back from the byeline.

Norwich recover, but Byram must be feeling dizzy after that. Love it.

  2. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Man Utd 0-0 Norwich

Good defensive work from Todd Cantwell to cover the run Aaron Wan-Bissaka and block the full-back's cross.

Andreas Pereira twists and turns and ties a couple of Norwich defenders up in a bright yellow knot on the other flank before whipping a cross wide of the far post.

The Norwich fans have been making plenty of noise well before kick-off.

"Emi Buendia. From Argentina..." is the latest song.

The midfielder is missing his BFF Teemu Pukki today, creating 19 goalscoring opportunities for the injured Finn in the Premier League this season, the most by any player for a team-mate.

  4. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Man Utd 0-0 Norwich

Juan Mata is already looking busy, finding pockets of space and orchestrating Manchester United's attacking moves.

The hosts work it left to Brandon Williams but the teenager can't keep it in play.

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Norwich will be looking to play on the shoulder of Harry Maguire - test him with pace to see if he is fit.

  6. Postpublished at 4 mins

    Man Utd 0-0 Norwich

Good pressure high up the pitch from Norwich as they win possession back just to the left of the United area. Todd Cantwell slips the ball between Aaron Wan-Bissaka's legs but the hosts get bodies behind the ball.

Norwich keep it well but are forced all the way back to keeper Tim Krul and he lashes it long... never quite understand that.

    Man Utd 0-0 Norwich

    Shamoon Hafez
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Manchester United transfers chief Ed Woodward is here, the previous holder of the role David Gill is sitting close by too.

No sign of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes though...

  8. Postpublished at 2 mins

Neat turn from Brandon Williams as he rolls into space and looks to get United moving forward - set for a big future you'd imagine, the 19-year-old full-back.

  12. 'We miss Pukki like Barca would miss Messi'published at 14:56 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

Man Utd v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

    Norwich City

Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke on coping without Teemu Pukki: "Of course it's crucial when one of your key players is not available. It's the same even for Barcelona when Messi is not available. It's still a huge task for them, so even more for us without any doubt.

"We are struggling a bit with injuries of our main striker options. And Dennis Srbeny has left us, so of course Adam Idah is a good option for us.

"Without any doubt he's done really alright at Preston in the cup game."

  13. Big day for young and old...published at 14:55 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

Man Utd v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

This will be Juan Mata's first Premier League start for Manchester United since 1 December.

Meanwhile, Norwich City's 18-year-old forward Adam Idah, who netted a hat-trick in their FA Cup win over Preston, makes the first Premier League start of his career.

Big day for two players at different ends of their careers.

Man Utd v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

I would be shocked if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not working very hard to get players in. The question remains where does he get them from and in what positions? He actually has more problems than answers.

  16. Ole not feeling sorry after derby defeatpublished at 14:52 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

Man Utd v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

    Manchester United

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on bouncing back from the midweek defeat by Manchester City: "Of course you're disappointed when you lose a game against your local rivals.

"But which way is there to go? Do you feel sorry for yourself or do you knuckle down and get ready for the next one? One of the worst traits a footballer can have is feeling sorry for himself.

"The boys have been focused. It's been a disappointing feeling because we know that wasn't the game we wanted but that's football and I'm sure we'll get a reaction."

  17. Postpublished at 14:51 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

Man Utd v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

Norwich midfielder Todd Cantwell pulled up in the warm-up and was clutching his right knee. He limped off to join in a shooting drill, but there must be some discomfort there - he's not had any treatment on it though, from what I can see. He was the last Norwich player back down the tunnel, but seems OK.

  18. Postpublished at 14:49 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

Man Utd v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

    That is something else...

I would love it, love it, if United actually played in this kit today. As it is, they'll just be getting a run out during the warm-ups.

  19. Cashing in?published at 14:46 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January 2020

Man Utd v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

    Shamoon Hafez
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

It has been an up-and-down season for Manchester United but the club's last two games have been forgetful, failing to get a single shot on target v Wolves last Saturday followed by being outclassed by rivals Manchester City in midweek.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says in the matchday programme he wants to see a "positive reaction" and it is "absolutely crucial to take charge today" against Norwich.

Whatever the Norwegian's future, merchandise sellers are cashing in with their t-shirts and you can also take your picture with replica trophies from the 1999 Treble season.

That'll only cost you a fiver.
