    Arsenal 1-0 Sheff Utd

Arsenal fans scream for a penalty as Nicolas Pepe goes down as he tries to squeeze through two Sheffield United players. VAR takes a look but no penalty given.

  2. Mahrez on his way...published at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    Man City 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

One City fan in front of me is - literally - screaming for Riyad Mahrez to be brought on to try to rescue this game for the home side.... and it looks like he will get his wish. Pep has just beckoned him over.

  3. 'Another set piece will settle this game'published at 70 mins

    West Ham 1-1 Everton

    Matt Upson
Former England and West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

The set pieces have been crucial so far in this game and it's the only way at the minute you can see another goal. Both teams have created opportunities but nothing really cutting edge. It just seems to be winning free-kicks and corners. Everton especially are looking really dangerous from them. I just think another set piece will settle this game.

  4. Postpublished at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    West Ham 1-1 Everton

Jordan Pickford does well to push behind a deflected effort from Robert Snodgrass that looped towards the far corner. The Everton keeper has made some decent saves in this game.

  5. 'I would like the referee to look at the monitor'published at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    Southampton 2-2 Wolves

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Final Score

The thing that worried me is that the referee - (Darren England), I think he was making his debut today - was right on the spot. He was very positive about it not being a penalty, put his arm in the air for a corner. I would like for him to go and have a look at the monitor. I know that isn't the remit at the moment, but it should be. Why can't he take part in this decision?

  6. Postpublished at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    Norwich 1-0 Bournemouth

    Should be game over.

Teemu Pukki breaks the offside trap to charge in on goal. He has just Aaron Ramsdale to beat but fails to do so with a low shot that the keeper drops to block.

Robert Sharratt: How Villa thought they could enter a season with 1 striker and stay up is beyond me.

Thomas Beman: Liverpool can probably declare soon, cricket style.

Willem Mevius: City players look tired - almost like they're recovering from a party...

  8. Postpublished at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    Brighton 1-0 Aston Villa

    Micah Richards
Former Aston Villa defender on Final Score

Villa should take off a defender and put another midfielder on. They need to do something because they have too many players at the back.

  9. Postpublished at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    Arsenal 1-0 Sheff Utd

Gabriel Martinelli does well to win a corner for Arsenal. Nicolas Pepe fires towards the near post but the referee blows for a foul.

Sheffield United still fancy getting something from this game and send on Callum Robinson for John Lundstram.

  10. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    Southampton 2-2 Wolves

This is shaping up to be some final 20-odd minutes.

Nathan Redmond cuts along the edge of the box before unleashing a shot that clips the top of the bar before going over.

  11. Postpublished at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    Norwich 1-0 Bournemouth

Is Callum Wilson ever going to score again?! Ryan Fraser sends the ball back into the mixer from the left and Wilson is waiting to swivel and shoot, but at the crucial moment he slips and completely fluffs the shot.

    Huge chance, gone.

  12. 'Definite penalty'published at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    Southampton 2-2 Wolves

    Micah Richards
Former Aston Villa defender on Final Score

It was a definite penalty for me. There was no reason to question it.

  13. goal

GOAL - Southampton 2-2 Wolvespublished at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    Raul Jimenez

    All square!

Superb fightback from Wolves to level this up this half. Jimenez makes no mistake from the spot. Cool and calm.

    Anybody's game now.

  14. PENALTYpublished at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    Southampton 2-1 Wolves

It is a penalty! I did think Jonny had been taken out by the two converging men. And neither got the ball. Massive chance for Wolves to level this up.

  15. Palace ruining Pep's birthdaypublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    Man City 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

Pep's birthday is not turning out too well so far. An hour in and Palace are dug in, defending their lead.

The groans from the home fans tell you all you need to know about City's attempts to get through the Eagles' blockade.

  16. Postpublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    Man City 0-1 Crystal Palace

Big chance missed by Gabriel Jesus as he gets the right side of a defender but then smashes well over the bar. The angle was tight but you'd expect him to have been closer than that.

  17. VAR

Video Assistant Refereepublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    Southampton 2-1 Wolves

They are checking for a penalty to Wolves as Jonny is sandwiched between two players in the box. This could be given, you know.

The on-field decision is a corner.

  18. 'Howe is looking flustered'published at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    Norwich 1-0 Bournemouth

    Micah Richards
Former Aston Villa defender on Final Score

When things are bad people want to throw stones but Eddie Howe has done a lot of good at the Bournemouth Football Club. At the moment though, he is looking flustered.

  19. Postpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    West Ham 1-1 Everton

Jordan Pickford does well to catch an awkward header from Sebastien Haller. He almost falls back over his own goal line but just about manages to keep the ball on the right side of the line.

  20. Postpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January 2020

    Brighton 1-0 Aston Villa

Been a quiet second half so far at the Amex. Villa have been a bit more threatening, but still yet to have an effort on target.
