Scotland are playing with a much better tempo now as John McGinn finds Greg Taylor galloping forward from left-back. The cut-back is perfect for James Forrest, who takes a touch before slamming a rising shot just wide of the target from near the penalty spot.

The free kick takes a big deflection to deceive the keeper but who cares? Goal-machine McGinn strikes again. That's his sixth goal of the campaign.

That's naughty. Abiken comes sliding in to cynically stop James Forrest in his tracks. The Celtic winger then crashes into another Kazahstan defender and looks to be in a spot of bother.
He's been Scotland's brightest player so far. Losing him would be a blow.
