    That's your lot from us on a day where teams at the top of the tables in the EFL perhaps took the season of giving a little too literally.

    Leaders West Brom were held to a 1-1 draw by Brentford while second-placed Leeds lost 2-1 to Fulham.

    Despite the setbacks the two teams have a 12 and nine point lead over the chasing pack.

    In League One leaders Wycombe and second-placed Ipswich both lost, with inform Oxford and Portsmouth accounting for the table toppers.

    Meanwhile, in League Two Swindon blew a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 at Forest Green.

    • The only team in the top seven to win are Crewe, who thrashed Stevenage to send Boro bottom of the English Football League at Christmas after Morecambe beat Newport.
