Preston are pressing in the closing stages, with Sean Maguire's eyes lighting up as the ball drops to him in the box only for Curtis Nelson to block the shot.

The ball appears to hit Nelson's arm, but he did not know a lot about it.

That's hit Nelson's hand, no wonder they're showing that block again.

In the 13:00 GMT kick-offs in Leagues One and Two, MK Dons have pulled a goal back against Gillingham courtesy of Alex Gilbey's strike from an acute angle.

Meanwhile in League Two, it's still goalless between Grimsby and Scunthorpe.

So nearly a moment of late drama as Ben Pearson drives into the Cardiff box after Curtis Nelson fails to clear.

Pearson drives a shot towards the far corner but Neil Etheridge makes a fine save.

Wales U21s coach Paul Bodin can go home now his son Billy is off. Don't rule Billy Bodin out of Ryan Giggs' plans for the Euros, he has featured under him.

And another Preston change.

Jayden Stockley replaces Welshman Billy Bodin.

Changes for both sides. Cardiff send Callum Paterson on for Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, while Brad Potts replaces Paul Gallagher in the Preston midfield.

Can either player make an impact?

There is not much sign of a goal at either end at the moment, although Billy Bodin - who has had a decent game - has just made space for a shot with a neat bit of footwork.

Sadly for Preston, his effort flies into the Cardiff City Stadium's family stand. Jingle balls, jingle balls, jingle all the way...

Having made his first change, Alex Neil may be plotting another one as Preston search for a winner.

He has just had a lengthy chat with three of his backroom staff on the touchline.

A first change of the day for Preston as Tom Barkhuizen makes way for veteran frontman David Nugent.

Barkhuizen worked hard up front without ever really looking like adding to his seven goals this season.

Cardiff fans either absolutely love sub Danny Ward, or Josh Murphy is a long way from being a fan favourite based on the huge cheers that greeted Murphy's withdrawal from this game.

That was the loudest cheer of the day.

Preston are presented with a big opportunity to break the deadlock as Curtis Nelson gifts possession to Alan Browne deep in the Cardiff half.

But Browne's tame effort is easily saved by Neil Etheridge.

It is getting to that point in this game where you start to wonder whether either team will find the target.

Preston are looking a little less menacing than they did in the first half, while Cardiff have not made much headway all afternoon.

When Preston put in the crosses there are four white shirts between the posts.

They have more people ahead of the ball and ready for when they do come in.

Cardiff have been static and have had no more than one or two players in the box for the crosses.

Josh Murphy's number came up just moments after he had over-hit a cross, prompting frustration in the stands.

The reaction of a number of home fans as he left the field is not going to do much for his confidence levels.

Neil Harris has had to change something to put Preston under pressure. Declan Rudd has had an easy day and so have the Preston back four. Pearson and Gallagher have been there waiting for Tomlin, now he's going to come in from wider areas he'll be more difficult to pick up.

I think Glatzel has had a good hour to be fair to him, but it's not been Murphy's day.

Two changes for Cardiff, as Danny Ward and Gary Madine are sent on for Robert Glatzel and Josh Murphy.

Murphy's withdrawal is cheered by the home fans.
