  2. Watch Eastleigh's equaliserpublished at 19:36 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    FT: Eastleigh 1-1 Crewe

What a moment for substitute Marcus Barnes whose goal forced a replay for the non-league club.

And I don't think anyone can say the National League side didn't deserve it.

This is why we love the FA Cup!

  3. 'Glad to make an impact'published at 19:34 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    FT: Eastleigh 1-1 Crewe

Eastleigh goalscorer Marcus Barnes told BT Sport:

"It feels good. It's never nice being on the bench but the manager told me to make an impact and I'm glad to do that for the team.

"Hopefully we'll have more opportunities in the next round.

"We have to get the replay out the way and I'd like a tie against Arsenal [in the third round]."

  4. 'We showed our quality'published at 19:32 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    FT: Eastleigh 1-1 Crewe

Eastleigh striker Scott Rendell told BT Sport:

"We let ourselves down conceding how we did and we're disappointed. They had spells in the first half where they overloaded us.

"We showed our quality in second half and we were on the front foot for a lot of it.

"On another day we could have nicked another one but it's not to be and we're still in the hat for the next round."

  5. Postpublished at 19:31 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

Right then. As we all recover from that mad finish, let's see what the players had to say.

  6. FULL-TIMEpublished at 19:25 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Eastleigh 1-1 Crewe

    What a cup tie.

League Two Crewe went ahead through Owen Dale in the 36th minute.

But National League Eastleigh gave it everything in the second half and deservedly went level through Marcus Barnes with four minutes to go.

Both sides went close late on too.

    We've been spoilt here tonight.

  7. Postpublished at 19:25 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Eastleigh 1-1 Crewe

What a ball from Joe Partington and Tyrone Barnett is brought down.

Penalty? No, it will be a free-kick for Eastleigh.

    Last minute of added time.

    Big chance to win it.

  9. INJURY TIMEpublished at 19:22 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Eastleigh 1-1 Crewe

A minimum of five minutes added on.

Both sides are going for the winner.

Eastleigh have a corner. Nothing comes of it this time.

  10. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 19:22 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Eastleigh 1-1 Crewe

And now Crewe nearly win it.

Substitute Daniel Powell leads a counter. He cuts inside, shoots.

It goes through Eastleigh keeper Max Stryjek, hitting the post and then rebounding behind for a corner off the back of the keeper's head.

  11. CLOSE!published at 19:20 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Eastleigh 1-1 Crewe

    Eastleigh can smell a winner.

The ball falls kindly for Tyrone Barnett...

    ...blocked.

    Just.

  13. goal

GOAL: Eastleigh 1-1 Crewepublished at 19:16 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Marcus Barnes (86 mins)

    Instant impact!

They'd been knocking on the door with Crewe keeper Will Jaaskelainen making two fine saves in the build up to this equaliser.

A deep cross is headed goalwards by Scott Rendell and tapped into an empty net by substitute Marcus Barnes and Eastleigh have a leveller.

And boy did they deserve that!

    Five minutes to go.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:13 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Eastleigh 0-1 Crewe

A great header from Tyrone Barnett, an even better save from Crewe keeper Will Jaaskelainen.

Barnett had to generate all of his own power from a looping cross. It was destined for the corner but Jaaskelainen was equal to it and maintains Crewe's lead.

    Was that Eastleigh's moment?

The free-kick is whipped in and Tyrone Barnett loses his marker Chris Porter.

But the big number 10 fluffs his chance and it's easily gathered by the Crewe keeper.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:05 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Eastleigh 0-1 Crewe

    The Crewe players are furious.

Former Alexandra man Danny Hollands catches Perry Ng. It's high and a little late and referee John Busby shows him a yellow card.

Ng then picks up a yellow card moments later, with a tactical foul to break up an Eastleigh counter.

Another free-kick in a good position for Eastleigh.
