    Burnley 1-0 Newcastle

Newcastle have offered surprisingly little since falling behind at Turf Moor, though equally Chris Wood's goal just before the hour mark has visibly improved the hosts' confidence.

Burnley look the more likely to get the next goal, if there is to be one. Though I wouldn't count on that.

Francis Edwards: Villa are really bad and Jack Grealish is a luxury player, just like someone like Mesut Ozil.

I am sure the Dean Smith die hards will defend him again but he is out if his depth. He will take us down. I love Aston Villa, save our Premier League place, sack Smith NOW!

    Sheff Utd 2-0 Aston Villa

Sheffield United are closing this one out with any hopes of an Aston Villa fight back gone with that penalty miss.

    Leicester 1-1 Norwich

That is an outstanding tackle by Caglar Soyuncu, who continues to prove himself as a worthy replacement for Harry Maguire.

With Teemu Pukki readying himself to shoot just a few yards out, the Leicester centre-back dives in to block and save Kasper Schmeichel from any hard work.

    Dan Gosling (85 mins)

    It's given!

    BIG goal for Bournemouth.

That's VAR doing what it should do as replays show it was Philip Billing who was offside, with Dan Gosling on when the ball came in. He cleverly hooks the ball over the keeper and, after a couple of minutes of waiting, VAR overturns the offside decision.

Can Chelsea find something in the final five minutes?

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Dan Gosling hooks the ball into the net. The flag is up for offside but replays suggest he was on side!

    VAR is having a look...

  7. CLOSE!published at 16:41 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2019

    Burnley 1-0 Newcastle

    It should be 1-1!

Dwight Gayle misses a brilliant opportunity to level for Newcastle after Joelinton had robbed Erik Pieters of possession to send in a cross.

But just a few yards out, Gayle pokes a shot wide of the target.

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Quick counter by Bournemouth led by Ryan Fraser. He plays the ball across to the other side of the pitch to Lewis Cook. It looks like the chance is gone as Cook hesitates, allowing Chelsea to get into position but eventually the ball is put in and Dominic Solanke is just beaten to it by Antonio Rudiger.

  9. 'Norwich need to make changes'published at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2019

    Leicester 1-1 Norwich

    Garth Crooks
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker on Final Score

Norwich started really well, got in front and Alexander Tettey has had a great game. But he is starting to get leggy. He has had such an impact on the midfield and Leicester are starting to get stronger and stronger. The manager needs to make some changes.

    Burnley 1-0 Newcastle

Erik Pieters has spent a good minute on the floor, with Newcastle playing on much to the disgust of the home supporters.

When the ball eventually goes out of play, there's at least five players from either side involved in an argument over whether play should have continued.

VAR briefly checks for a red card offence among all the finger pointing, but play continues.

  11. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:36 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2019

    Sheff Utd 2-0 Aston Villa

Jack Grealish hits the woodwork from the spot!

That was a big chance for Villa to get back into the game but Grealish lifted his effort onto the bar.

  12. PENALTY TO ASTON VILLApublished at 16:35 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2019

    Sheffield United 2-0 Aston Villa

    Penalty to Villa!

Looks like there was a handball in the box and after a VAR check the spot kick is given...

  13. Postpublished at 16:35 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2019

    Leicester 1-1 Norwich

A rather comical battle in the Norwich penalty area ensues following a corner, with the ball bouncing all over the place before eventually falling for Jamie Vardy.

With defenders around him, Vardy is able to get a shot away but it's tame and another opportunity goes begging for Leicester as they chase a winner.

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Final Score

I have been impressed by Bournemouth. Chelsea have been a little bit predictable. That's their issue. They have had issues against Everton, West Ham and again today. They are too easy to defend against.

Ideozu-Frank Sampson: Bournemouth are not afraid of Chelsea whatsoever! They play as if they're on the same level with Chelsea. They should be playing like this week in week out, Bournemouth

As a Chelsea fan, it's these 0-0 dead rubber games where you really really miss the Hazard influence....

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Tammy Abraham flicks a header wide as Chelsea push in the closing stages. Good ball in by Cesar Azpilicueta.

Meanwhile, Joshua King is off for Bournemouth after appearing to pick up an injury. Dominic Solanke replaces the forward.

  17. Postpublished at 16:33 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2019

    Burnley 1-0 Newcastle

Dwight McNeil has been a standout performer for Burnley this afternoon, by far the Clarets' main threat and a frequent concern for Newcastle.

The 20-year-old creates space for a cross from the left, picking out Chris Wood - but Wood's header travels agonisingly wide of the top corner.

  18. goal

GOAL - Sheff Utd 2-0 Aston Villapublished at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2019

    John Fleck

Sheffield United are going fifth - FIFTH - in the Premier League.

Lovely football from the Blades as Oliver Norwood lifts the ball up, David McGoldrick flicks it over the defence and John Fleck tucks in at the near post for his second of the game.

  19. Postpublished at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2019

    Leicester 1-1 Norwich

A good chance for Wilfred Ndidi to put Leicester ahead for the first time in this match.

It's James Maddison once again who delivers a wicked cross into the box, this time from a free-kick on the left, and Ndidi positions himself well but sends his header wide of the target.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2019

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

    Superb save Aaron Ramsdale!

There's head tennis inside the Bournemouth box but eventually Emerson powers a header at goal from six yards. He looks certain to score but Ramsdale superbly bats away.
