    Cardiff 2-2 Carlisle

Harry McKirdy breaks into the box for Carlisle but hits his shot straight at Alex Smithies in the Cardiff goal. Could go either way this one...

  2. goal

GOAL - Fulham 2-1 Aston Villapublished at 16:32 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2020

    Harry Arter (73 mins)

    It's another worldie!!!

He's only been on for one minute and 45 seconds. It comes to him about 30 yards out and he thumps it - it's swerving all the way too - into the top left corner.

Unbelievable goal. His first goal since November 2017 too.

    What. A. Goal.

    Oxford United 2-1 Hartlepool United

Shandon Baptiste slips as he tries to nut-meg an opponent and ends up slamming into them. He is feeling the aftermath too.

Brighton and Hove Albion 0-1 Sheffield Wednesday

I'm not so sure that Brighton manager Graham Potter will want a replay but his side are building up some steam - Neal Maupay heads just wide.

  6. Postpublished at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2020

    Fulham 1-1 Aston Villa

Josh Onomah clashes into his own keeper and takes a heavy knock to his neck. He's given a look over by the medical staff but it looks like he's OK to carry on.

Harry Arter then comes on for skipper Kevin McDonald.

  7. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 16:29 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2020

    Reading 2-2 Blackpool

Oh what is he thinking! Armand Gnaduillet, with the chance to restore Blackpool's lead, chips his penalty and it hits the bar.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:29 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2020

    Watford 3-1 Tranmere

Connor Jennings, who scored for Tranmere moments ago, has just had another very decent effort tipped over the bar.

He looks like a man on fire at the moment!

I'm a Saints fan, and support VAR - including this decision. He was offside. If we want to avoid the controversy then maybe the players should stay onside!

    Shandon Baptiste (66 mins)

    What a goal!!!

Unreal skill from Shandon Baptiste, who beats two players in the box before slotting it into the bottom left corner.

    Wow.

  11. PENALTY TO BLACKPOOLpublished at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2020

    Reading 2-2 Blackpool

No sooner have Reading equalised, Blackpool have a spot kick as Armand Gnaduillet is fouled inside the box...

    Cardiff 2-2 Carlisle

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

Whatever Neil Harris said to Cardiff's players at half-time, it worked.

The Championship side trailed League Two Carlisle 2-0 at the break and they were duly booed off the pitch.

But they've been transformed in the second half, with goals from Callum Paterson and Gavin Whyte drawing them level.

This should be an intriguing final half an hour.

  13. goal

GOAL - Reading 2-2 Blackpoolpublished at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2020

    Danny Loader

The Royals hit back again! This time Danny Loader's flick at the near post goes in off the woodwork.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2020

    Southampton 1-0 Huddersfield

Huddersfield make the first change of the game as Fraizer Campbell is replaced by fellow striker Steve Mounie.

    Fulham 1-1 Aston Villa

    Andy Townsend
Ex-Aston Villa midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

That looked like a great finish by Kodjia and it's a very good goal. Kodjia has looped the ball over Rodak's head and put Villa back in the game. Soft goal from Fulham's point of view and they should've moped that up.

Owen Thompson: Can we just remove offside from VAR checks, or just let it decide player to player incidents? Seems like every game day has at least one disallowed goal now.

Matthew Norfolk: People complaining about the VAR offside calls are probably the same people bemoaning the linesmen who didn't catch them last year...

  19. goal

GOAL - Watford 3-1 Tranmerepublished at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2020

    Connor Jennings

A way back in for Tranmere?

The ball is lifted in from the left and Connor Jennings, unmarked at the near post, just nods it in.

  20. Postpublished at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2020

    Cardiff 2-2 Carlisle

Brilliant save by Adam Collin as he keeps out a fierce 35-yard strike by Josh Murphy.

That chance came shortly after Callum Paterson headed over as Cardiff push for a third.
