    Arsenal

Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi speaking to Sky Sports: "We've played here before. We dealt well with it. It is not our type of football. Unfortunately we only we had 15-20 minute spells where we could do what we wanted but that wasn't enough to win the game.

"We need to work more to put our game on the pitch for 90 minutes rather than spells of a game. You cannot defend when they play long balls all the time. We tried to put pressure on so they couldn't do it easily. It was important to win the second balls and in parts we did it very well."

On starting after being injured at Bournemouth: "It looked bad on the screen and our doctors are careful with injuries and they tried to make me go safe at first but after the scan it was clear, with a painkiller I could go back on the pitch.

"It's nothing special, it's normal. We are here to work and play for a big club, I always want to be ready when the team and coach needs me."

Pep Guardiola has come up against Jose Mourinho more often than any other manager, and Mourinho has never faced one more often than Guardiola.

Their rivalry has been one of the themes of European football over the last decade - just as Mourinho versus Rafael Benitez was a thread recurring through the decade before.

Guardiola has come out on top in half of their 22 previous meetings, the first of which saw Inter face Barca in the Champions League of 2010.

Guardiola will have to come out on top again if City are to take advantage of third-placed Leicester facing fourth-placed Chelsea the day before - though Spurs will still think that they might yet reach the top four too.

Tottenham v Man City (16:30 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
Ex-Oxford United manager and BBC Sport expert

City boss Pep Guardiola has got to be thinking about the first leg of their Champions League tie against Real Madrid at the end of February, because it is coming up fast.

That competition is so open, it could be anyone's - including City's.

Guardiola has been experimenting with different formations in recent weeks but I think he needs to start by picking his best team, and stick with it.

If he does that, then I don't think City will have any problems creating chances against Spurs - and, if they take them, they will win.

    Lawro's prediction: 0-2

Spurs v Man City (16:30 GMT)

It's Jose Mourinho v Pep Guardiola for the 23rd time as managers.

They have met in Inter Milan v Barcelona, Real Madrid v Barcelona, Chelsea v Bayern Munich, Manchester United v Manchester City and now Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City.

"Maybe we are older and more experienced. I don't know," said Guardiola when asked why their beef doesn't seem so strong these days.

"I know every time when we were at United or here, it was just about my press conference if I say something or if he say something.

"From my side, I always had incredible respect for what he did for football and in his career."

Can anyone explain what Arteta has actually done since his arrival? And why the board think that this squad is acceptable for this league?

It was a great game of football, especially for a 0-0. Mikel Arteta's Arsenal side are still learning, still finding their feet. I think he will take stock and say we have created opportunities and we held out against a strong Burnley side. Pluses from both sides but I would expect they will both be disappointed that they didn't score any goals.

Burnley forward Jay Rodriguez speaking to Sky Sports: "I thought we played really well, a point is a good point but I think we deserved all three."

On missing the best chance of the game: "I should put that away and hit the back of the net with that - I'm really disappointed with it."

I've just thought - six wins from 25 Premier League games for Arsenal this season. That really is awful.

I think Sean Dyche will think his side have played extremely well and will be bitterly disappointed they have not gone on and won it with such a fantastic chance for Jay Rodriguez.
