    Arsenal 0-1 Everton

That's Sead Kolasinac off, so Bukayo Saka is on in his place.

It's Sead Kolasinac's right arm which is the issue - he's got it strapped up and he's being helped off the pitch here. Dislocation?

Michael: Arsenal are specialists at starting matches poorly.....then they end up struggling to either win or draw the match.

Sarah Morgan: How many more defensive error related goals will it take for changes to be made in that Arsenal back four? I can't understand why the board didn't make those a January sale priority - price of that stands to be much higher come May and no Champions' League place!

A proper 50/50 in the air between Sead Kolasinac and Djibril Sidibe and the Arsenal man clatters into the pitch, face first.

He looks in a bit of bother here.

Shkodran Mustafi is free from a corner and heads over the top. Half a chance that.

    Arsenal 0-1 Everton

Brilliant from Dominic Calvert-Lewin again, he gives Shkodran Mustafi a 15-yard headstart and still gets there before him. The newly silvered fox recovers to just about clear. Everton a new team under Carlo, DCL a new man.

    Arsenal 0-1 Everton

One day Arsenal will replace Patrick Vieira in their midfield. One day. Everton come forwards and there is so much room in there.

Richarlison is able to run it downfield, he has three men over and finds Alex Iwobi on the right. Iwobi should pobably have looked for a man in the middle but instead shoots across the face of goal and wide.

It's a fair point I suppose. Do we want to see that ruled out?

    I don't.

Jack: Had to be a free kick for dangerous play, foot was higher than Luiz' head

John Smith: Should definitely be no goal for Everton. Scorer’s foot was higher than head height, in a crowded goal mouth to boot!

Andy Mercer: Surprised Calvert-Lewin effort was not disallowed for high foot.

Are we all on board with an England strikeforce of Calvert-Lewin, Vardy and Ings for the Euros?

Arsenal have a decent attack as Nicolas Pepe tees up Hector Bellerin and he blasts one over.

    Arsenal 0-1 Everton

Arsenal have conceded in the opening minute of a Premier League home game for only the second time, also doing so in August 2007 against Fulham when David Healy scored after 51 seconds.

There were suggestions of both offside and a high foot in that goal but if you can't go for overhead kicks then why even bother?

    Dominic Calvert-Lewin

    What a finish!

That is inspired from Dominic Calvert-Lewin! Gylfi Sigurdsson floats in a free-kick, Arsenal's offside line is all over the place. Ragged as it gets.

The ball hits David Luiz on the back, floats up and DCL flies into an improvised sort of overhead kick which flies into the bottom corner.

Didn't get all of it but enough. We reckon that was sub 50-seconds.

Former Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla says returning to Emirates Stadium to say goodbye to the club's fans is "something which is left in my career."

Cazorla, 35, left the Gunners after six years in 2018 following two years out with a serious ankle injury.

But he has made an amazing recovery at Villarreal and has even fought his way back into the Spain team.

"It was frustrating to not be able to say goodbye to a club who treated me so well," he told BBC Sport.

"It is something left in my career to say goodbye properly. I am eternally grateful to the club and the fans for the way they continue to treat me."

Would you be pleased to see him back?

More from Bruno Fernandes speaking to the BBC: "This is the day every player wants to have. I feel lucky to score, I feel lucky to win the game. We all gave our best and we all deserved the win. I just need to help the team, it’s what I want to do, it’s what I need to do. I hope Martial scores more goals too like he did tonight."

On the penalty: "It’s the way I shoot a penalty, it’s where I feel confident. I do not shoot just that way but it felt the best way today."

  19. The importance of beliefpublished at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2020

    Wolves 3-0 Norwich

    Wolves

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo: "We managed the game very well, we were always in control. We blocked them (Norwich) and created many chances.

"What's more important is the belief - the result is what we see afterwards. The energy was required (after playing on Thursday) and the team showed it so good."

On challenging for a top-four finish: "We're going to stay focused because the difficulty is to sustain your performances through the season.

"After that, we'll see, but it's about building your team and getting them ready to compete whenever, wherever."

On Diogo Jota: "He's showing his performance and hard work, and he has a long way to go because there is always space to improve."

  20. 'Now we want to kick on'published at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2020

    FT: Man Utd 3-0 Watford

    Manchester United

Man Utd manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer talking to BBC Sport:

"A very good win, two good wins and two clean sheets, some goals to celebrate, now we want to kick on.

"I thought first half we started by gifting them some good opportunities and gradually we created more and more chances.

"Bruno Fernandes is quicker than he looks. Very excited by having him in. He has come in, given everyone a boost and wants to conduct a game. There are big games coming up now.

"The thing that matters in football is scoring goals and that is what Mason Greenwood does."
