    Arsenal 2-1 Everton

Arsenal look a good side at the moment. They were moving the ball so slowly against Newcastle last week but now they are zipping it around neatly.

Djibril Sidibe makes a dubious-looking challenge in the area but he gets the ball well. Everton then attack as DCL puts in a cross from the left but it's dealt with.

Everton haven't had a shot on target since they took the lead inside the first minute. Skipper Leighton Baines, making a rare start, just has a feel of his hamstring. One to watch.

Great composure from Aubameyang but David Luiz - there are not many better centre-backs who can step out like that. This is exactly what he is good at. But I have to say Sidibe has been done a couple of times and he has absolutely had him on toast. Aubameyang is very calm, very Henry-esque.

That Asenal goal also maybe showed why teams don't play a 4-4-2 very often anymore. One pass cut the two lines of Everton far too easily.

GOAL - Arsenal 2-1 Evertonpublished at 17:02 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2020

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (33 mins)

A lovely finish! Never in doubt. Well played David Luiz, who is allowed to come out of defence with the ball at his feet and play it inside the full-back Djibril Sidibe.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is onside and in on goal. Did you ever doubt him? Opens up the hips, finds the far corner. Fine turnaround from the Arsenal.

Dennis: Wow what a peach of a ball from Saka, fantastic assist and back-to-back assists for the youngster.

That was on a plate for Eddie Nketiah. It was all about the delivery from Bukayo Saka. It was great link up play from the two men and you can just tell they have a great understanding between them which is so important. It is a lovely controlled finish. Pickford had no chance.

Arsenal are bustling now, Nicolas Pepe almost sends Mesut Ozil in on goal but Jordan Pickford does well to shut it down. That goal has given Arsenal lift off.

    Eddie Nketiah (27 mins)

Nicolas Pepe had just had a shot saved by Jordan Pickford when Arsenal level it up. What a cross by Bukayo Saka, who looks a real talent on the left-hand side. The ball is whipped in across the aea, Yerry Mina is nowhere and Eddie Nketiah meets it on the volley to steer it home.

Great, great ball in. Good shout Chis Lord...

Sigurdsson is pretty much playing on the left of a good old fashioned 4-4-2.

The thing with Gylfi Sigurdsson is I know he plays on either side but ultimately he is going to gravitate through the middle. You know he is going to tuck into the middle space.

He is not a natural wide player, he does not have a lot of pace to go past people but he is a creative player in those pockets of space.

He'll surely get a call-up at the very least. England play Italy and Denmark at the end of March.

Calvert-Lewin has scored 12 Premier League goals this season; the most by an English player in a single campaign for the Toffees was Kevin Campbell in 1999-00 (12).

At the moment Dominic Calvert-Lewin is knocking on the door of a place in the England squad and rightly so. There is a lot of opportunity there with all the injuries. He is a different type of centre-forward.
