Nerves are all about the build-up and what people make of the game. This team have come out fearless in my opinion. I think for most players once you get that first touch and a bit of fresh air you're good to go, you're in game mode.

It's Kalvin Phillips involved again, winning the ball high up the pitch from Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic, but the ref feels it was done illegally.

I think Harry Kane went too early. It's one of those ones where you just give them a little look the player on the ball, but he just went too soon Harry Kane.

I think Croatia are just happy it's still 0-0.

Croatia can't live with England when they play at a high tempo.

Croatia are rattled by Kalvin Phillips at the moment.

The Leeds man has made a terrific start.

You just feel Croatia will improve as the game goes on and England need to bag a goal or two with this spell.

England have started the game really well. They're even mixing up the attacks there. Jordan Pickford with the longer ball in behind and with a couple of balls in behind this Croatia defence. It just forces them to drop if they think the ball is continuously going to be getting dropped over them with the likes of Sterling and Foden that can cause problems.

Phil Foden's early effort saw him become the first player to hit the woodwork at Euro 2020.

The Manchester City man would have preferred his shot to have been a few inches to the right to get England off to the perfect start.

It's a good spell this for England. Croatia can't get out.

England are dominating the possession and Kalvin Phillips has made a very good start to this game.
