[On witnessing Fabrice Muamba collapse] It's that instant kind of shock that hits your system. It's not something that you see very often in top level sport anyway. I know through getting more information on it this is something that is continually happening from grassroots to the top level, but there is something that just hits you immediately.
I was really shaken up yesterday. I was frantically trying to search for information to see if he was ok or a signal or a sign and thankfully we got one in the end and hopefully it continues.
Yesterday how any games took place I don't know if I'm totally honest. Not only are there so many players who re very close but even as a footballer, as an athlete and as a human being, watching something so tragic in that time, you can't just switch your mind off and on in that way emotionally and that effects you physically.

England have arrived at Wembley and are alighting the bus.
Jordan Henderson is there, so too Harry Maguire. Either one to start?
Could Gareth Southgate spring a surprise with a left-back at right-back or vice verse...?

After everything I've dealt with over the last two or three years, that I do believe that everyone deals with grief and trauma and shock in their own individual way. There's not a right way to deal with it and there's not a wrong way to deal with it.
But what you need when you go through it is the full support of people you work with, bosses, management. Whatever it may be you need the support of people around you. I do worry, rightly or wrongly, whether the support was really there for players in all of this and the Finland players too.
Then I would go further and say players like Romelu Lukaku his team-mate at Inter Milan, Christian Eriksen's former teammates at Tottenham in this England team. For them to witness their friend go through that, they are still going to be affected by that today whether he's stable in hospital or not. There's shock for us and we don't even know Christian Eriksen. They're his friends who are going to be playing in this tournament over the next few days.

England begin their Euro 2020 campaign against Croatia at Wembley, where they hope to contest the final on 11 July.
The Three Lions are looking to reach the final of a major tournament for the first time since 1966.
England reached the semi-finals when they hosted the European Championship in 1996, and Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford said: "I was only two.
"You don't have many opportunities to play a major tournament at your home country."

Forget the traditional football ground aroma of hotdog stands and fast food stalls - the waft of suntan lotion was actually hanging heavily in the air around Wembley as fans waited to get in. It is officially very, very hot.

Imy: Here's to hoping England play the game today at a Premier League pace. If so I think we'll beat Croatia comfortably. If not, it'll be the same as every year.

I have never seen anything like that in my life. I was sitting down and couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was horrendous to watch.
You saw the reaction of the Denmark players, how they got on the field and got through that football match I just wouldn't know.

I'm currently watching the England team buses making their way to the stadium with a police escort.
They're not caught in ANY traffic on the North Circular like the rest of us would be.

It's a mixture of emotions really. Coming here today on a glorious day, I'm looking up and can see the white arch and beyond that just blue skies.
When we travelled here on the tube today and got the first sight of Wembley, I'm thinking this is a rarity to see England at Wembley in a major tournament, but at the same time, it is all tempered by what we witnessed over in Copenhagen last night.
That feeling is still here and that feeling is definitely still with us, even though the outcome as far as we know seems to be very positive for Christian Eriksen.

Wembley Way is already a buzz of activity with supporters trekking down to the stadium from the underground stop.
Great to see fans back for this one.

Two hours before the first match seems the perfect time to throw caution to wind and declare: IT'S COMING HOME!

We begin with another positive update on the condition of Christian Eriksen.
He has been speaking to his national team-mates and remains stable in hospital, Danish football officials have said.
Eriksen collapsed shortly before half-time in Denmark's opening Euro 2020 game against Finland on Saturday.
The 29-year-old Inter Milan player had emergency medical treatment on the pitch before being taken to hospital.
"His condition is stable and he continues to be hospitalised for further examination," said a statement.

Another year, another major tournament.
This time it's (mostly) on home soil, this time with a young squad packed with attacking flair.
Will this finally be England's year?
