It feels like a major win for Slovakia, because now, if they can get a result against Sweden they have a real chance of getting out of the group. Full credit to Slovakia, everyone has written them off and what a result they have produced this evening.

Milan Skriniar's goal was the difference. He has found his goalscoring form at just the right time.

Slovakia's players are in a huddle dancing on the pitch. A huge result for them as they overcome a side that have one of the best strikers in the world in Robert Lewandowski in their side.

Poland, despite a good spell early in the second half, just never really got going.

You're thinking, you've got to make more changes Paulo Sousa. They've made two already and they haven't really worked out. Get some more attacking players next to Lewandowski. You might as well lose three or four and go for it instead of losing just 2-1

Ilyas Najib: I never thought I’d sit and enjoy watching Poland vs Slovakia, but that’s the beauty of major tournaments, expect the unexpected, brilliant game of football.

Oh what a chance! What a chance for Robert Lewandowski as a corner is whipped in with pace, Lewandowski jumps but a little too early and the ball skims the top of his head from yards out.

Slovakia again respond with a double change as Tomas Suslov replaces Robert Mak, who made the first goal, while Lukas Haraslin makes way for Michal Duris.

Tymoteusz Puchacz fires over following a corner for Poland, who then make another two changes as Jakub Moder and Karol Swiderski come on for Mateusz Klich and Piotr Zielinski.

Almost everyone is back to defend now for Slovakia as they look to protect what will be a massive win as they look to reach the knockout stages for the second European Championship in a row.

It has been a frustrating afternoon for Robert Lewandowski. He's had more shots than any of his team-mates with four but three of those have been blocked and the other was way off target.
