Time for us to wrap things up here but I'll leave you with Cristiano Ronaldo's dazzling second, and you can read about how he made history and helped Portugal beat Hungary in Michael Emons' report here.

The football is not over yet, though! Just the small matter of France versus Germany to wrap things up and my colleague Shamoon Hafez is on hand to guide you through that treat here.

    See you later!

    Hungary 0-3 Portugal

Cristiano Ronaldo (36 years, 130 days) has become the oldest player to score two or more goals in a European Championship match, taking the record from Ukraine's Andriy Shevchenko, who was 35 years 256 days when he scored two against Sweden.

Ronaldo also becomes the oldest player to score for Portugal at a major tournament and Portugal are the first team to grab three goals in the last 10 minutes of a European Championship match.

If ever there was a person who has every right to give this look, it is Cristiano Ronaldo.

He didn't have the best of games for 80 minutes but then turned on the style in the final 10 minutes to break more records.

A good advert for drinking water too.

This score line is so harsh for Hungary. The energy in the stadium, the energy in which the team have played with.

The guts and desire they've played, they haven't had the quality but they were so close.

Just wow. Ronaldo walks on water doesn't he.

Goes around Gulacsi, the goalkeeper, and pokes it in into the empty net.

Classy finish and classy play from Ronaldo. Absolutely stunning that movement and finish.

This is looking emphatic now for Portugal.

  13. goal

GOAL - Hungary 0-3 Portugalpublished at 90+1 min

    Cristiano Ronaldo

Make that four goals away from the all-time record!

A beautiful goal, too, as he starts and finishes the move as he plays a one-two with Rafa Silva to get into the box then calmly rolls the ball round the goalkeeper and into the back of the net.

That's goal number 106 for Cristiano Ronaldo. What a player.

  14. Record breakerpublished at 90 mins

    Hungary 0-2 Portugal

It is also Cristiano Ronaldo's 105th international goal. He's just five away from breaking the all time record.

There's five minutes added on but Portugal have this in the bag after so long being frustrated by the resilient Hungary side.

    Hungary absolutely didn't deserve this.

It's a deflected cross from Silva and Guerreiro, he doesn't hit it good and it's going straight for the keeper.

It's agonising for Hungary and Portugal look like they got out of jail here.

    Record breaker!

Cristiano Ronaldo steps up to drive home from the spot to make history. He's now the highest scorer in European Championship history with 10 goals across five tournaments.

    Raphael Guerreiro

The reigning champions look to have snatched it!

It is a cruel blow for Hungary as Raphael Guerreiro's strike inside the box takes a wicked deflection and flies into the far corner of the net.

Stunned silence around the Puskas Arena. Just moments ago Hungary fans were in dreamland, now despair.
