Paul Collins: Portugal to need win this. They could quite easily lose to both France and Germany. So if they don't win this they might not even get out of the group even as a possible best 3rd placed team.

Simon Atkins: Hungary really need to change something, they just don't seem likely to be able to get something here at the moment.

In just over 30 minutes of action, Portugal goalkeeper Rui Patricio has only touched the ball four times.

Ádam Szalai suddenly has the opportunity to go on a rare attack for Hungary as a loose pass comes to him. The skipper takes the ball up the pitch but has no options and Portugal regain possession.

That iconic leap by Cristiano Ronaldo as he hangs in the air to meet Bernardo Silva's clipped ball in but he probably mistimed his jump as the ball skims off the top of his head and wide.

Bernardo Silva plays a short corner before the ball is whipped into the box but Attila Fiola rises to head away.

The question for Hungary, can they make better use for the ball when they get it?

They don't seem to have the confidence when they're on the ball to make passes and take the sting out of the game.

Excellent tackle by Willi Orban as Cristiano Ronaldo plays a through ball for Bernardo Silva to run onto inside the box but Orban slides in to clear the danger.

Portugal are building from the back and no player on either side has completed more passes than central defensive duo Pepe and Ruben Dias - 23 passes each.

In contrast, Diogo Jota has been a lively presence and he again gets in down the left. He tries to knock the ball beyond the fullback but it goes out of play.

Bruno Fernandes hasn't really got into the game yet. He's only had seven touches of the ball, only goalkeeper Rui Patricio has had fewer.

Hungary want to turn this into an ugly match, they're not going to outplay Portugal.

Cristiano Ronaldo is onto a ball over the top from midfield and the Portugal forward watches it drop over his shoulder before firing a first-time effort at goal. Péter Gulácsi saves, but the flag goes up for offside anyway.

Attila Fiola clatters into Nelson Semedo and both players are down injured. After a few minutes they are able to get up and continue.

When they actually get the ball at the back, they are being direct but it just allows Portugal to get the ball back. It's a hot evening, so they're just going to try and run this Hungarian team around.

Are we going to see another game like Spain versus Sweden yesterday?

Spain completed almost 1,000 passes in that game but just couldn't make it happen in the final third and Portugal have been similarly dominant in possession so far.

Long, long way to go.

Some really nice movement from the Portugal attack as they try to pull Hungary out of shape.

Diogo Jota drops out left to pick up the ball and cuts inside to the edge of the area but he can't find a team-mate with his ball into the box.

Portugal have been well on top so far and had the game's only shot with that Diogo Jota effort.
