I think we need to see more of Joshua Kimmich and Robin Gosens down the wings for Germany.

He really did not catch it. The keeper was beaten, but his timing was all wrong. Germany can't not keep taking these chances.

End-to-end stuff now and Germany close to the equaliser as Serge Gnabry, on home turf, scuffs a side-footed volley onto the roof of the net from 12 yards out.

"You have to take those chances," says Martin Keown.

I think Adrien Rabiot would have been offside. He never looked comfortable on his left foot but it was a great ball from Kylian Mbappe.

France in for the second, Adrien Rabiot in acres of space with a run into the box.

The Juve midfielder tries to catch out Manuel Neuer but smacks the outside of the near post.

A pullback to the waiting Antoine Griezmann might have been the better option.

France have dealt with all the crosses into their box so far, Presnel Kimpembe is a real presence at the back alongside Raphael Varane.

I just DON'T see a weakness in this French team.

They don't need to do that much different, just be a little more potent.

Kylian Mbappe causing havoc again, the Germany defenders are struggling to deal with the rapid pace.

The Frenchman makes another dart into the box but Mats Hummels just about manages to keep up.

N'Golo Kante was the busiest France player in the first half - he was everywhere. He had more touches of the ball (41) and played more passes (29) than any other player.
