Former Scotland forward on Match of the Day
Just a nice early marker from Lyndon Dykes. Putting himself about, I don't mind seeing that at all.

Expecting it to be a frantic opening 10 minutes before it settles down.

10 seconds in, Luke Shaw gets a painful one in the hip courtesy for Lyndon Dykes' aerial challenge.
That's put down a marker.

Knees taken by both teams.
The time for talking is over, let the action begin.
Away we go.

The atmosphere is electric. Imagine if it was a full stadium.
It's a cracking atmosphere - let's hope the game is.

Scotland skipper Andrew Robertson is front of the queue in the tunnel, staring into the distance.
But it's Harry Kane and England who take to the field first.
What an atmosphere they emerge to at a sodden Wembley.

Micah Richards
Former England defender on BBC One
We all know Harry Kane is world class. It was a frustrating game for him [against Croatia], but he dropped deep and that allowed Raheem Sterling to run in behind.
It's a team game and the win is the most important thing. It's a different game tonight and Kane will get an opportunity.
Kane wants to feel involved and that he is making an impact so he will drop deep. He should stay up there but he can create as well.

BBC News
A dispersal order for central London has been issued ahead of tonight's match.
The Met Police said it would "prevent the public being caused alarm, harassment and distress" and stop criminality in the local area
Fans have been travelling to the capital despite being urged not to by the mayor. No fan zone is being set up.
Dispersal orders provide the police with the extra powers to break up groups of two or more people, where they believe their behaviour is causing a nuisance, harassment or distress.

Jack Wilshere
Ex-England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live
It's important England don't get carried away when they have the ball.
I think you'll see Declan Rice holding a little bit more than he did against Croatia
If the full-backs are going to have that license to push on a bit more, I wouldn't be surprised if we see Rice dropping into a back three.

Richard Sorrell: Gilmour starting at Wembley reminds me of a young Barry Ferguson doing the same for Scotland in 99 and bossing the game.

Jurgen Klinsmann
Former Germany head coach on BBC One
I think the English team looks very sharp, it looks really good. It's evolved after the World Cup in Russia. There's a lot of optimism which is right for the English side, for the English public and the fans. There is huge hope and if they win this group they will play six out of seven games at Wembley so it's basically your European Championship at home so you have to be optimistic absolutely.
