Spain just keep moving it about, one or two touches. As an opponent, you're always chasing, when they see that gap, when one defender doesn't press, that's when they go.

The way the first half has gone, you feel one more goal for Spain and they're in the semi-finals.

There's the whistle for half time and it is Spain who have the lead, albeit a slender one.

Well this encounter isn't quite living up to the excitement of the games these two were involved in on Monday, but still a long way to go.

It was the final 10 minutes of normal time when things started to really hot up in those last 16 games.

Spain are managing this game very well. They're allowing Switzerland's defenders to have the ball but once it goes into the middle, then they squeeze, win it back and play at their own pace.

Steven Zuber breaks clear of the Spain defence to chase a Xherdan Shaqiri ball over the top. He looks offside but the flag stays down until he gets into the area and tumbles under a challenge and then the linesman raises his flag for offside.

Switzerland are enjoying a good little spell at the moment as they win another corner.

Silvan Widmer this time gets up to meet Xherdan Shaqiri's ball in but it glances off the top of his head and well over.

Switzerland have never won a Euros match when conceding first (D3 L6).

Free header for Manuel Akanji from a Switzerland corner but he sends it over the bar.

Switzerland win another corner soon after but this time Xherdan Shaqiri's delivery is over everyone.

Ferran Torres has been lively so far and is popping up all over the final third of the pitch. Having caused problems on the right, he comes inside from the left now, exchanging passes with Alvaro Morata but is then closed down by the Switzerland defence.

Half an hour in and Swiss striker Haris Seferovic has touched the ball twice - both in midfield.

Switzerland play a good ball down the right and Ruben Vargas gives chase but Jordi Alba does well to get to it first and play back to his keeper.

Approaching the half hour mark and the tempo has slowed now with Spain returning to slow, patient build up.

Feel for Switzerland as tactically they looked to have got their initial set up spot on and looked a real danger on the break but that Spain goal and the loss of Breel Embolo to injury has unsettled them. They are struggling to get up the pitch and get in behind now.

Almost 2-0 as Álvaro Morata rises to meet a good delivery from a corner. It is a free header and on target but Yann Sommer clutches the ball under his own crossbar.

Real blow for Switzerland as Breel Embolo can't continue. He is replaced by Ruben Vargas.

The goal has gone down as a Denis Zakaria own goal now, by the way, according to Uefa.
