Another booking, this time for Cardiff left-back Joe Bennett following his sliding challenge on Connor Roberts.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 70 mins

    Cardiff 0-0 Swansea

    It's a double-substitution for Cardiff.

Off go Robert Glatzel, who was a handful up front, and winger Gavin Whyte.

In two straight swaps, Callum Paterson is on for Glatzel and Josh Murphy is on for Whyte.

  3. Postpublished at 68 mins

    Cardiff 0-0 Swansea

Another shot from Rhian Brewster, and another which goes wide from the Swansea debutant.

You can't fault the 19-year-old for effort but he's struggling to produce much in the way of quality.

  4. Postpublished at 67 mins

    Cardiff 0-0 Swansea

Cardiff are preparing to make a couple of substitutions.

It looks like winger Josh Murphy and utility man Callum Paterson - who can play anywhere from right-back to centre-forward - are getting ready.

It's not happening for Rhian Brewster on his Swansea debut so far.

The distances between the midfield and Brewster are too great at the moment for Swansea, they need to sort that.

  8. Postpublished at 60 mins

    Cardiff 0-0 Swansea

Cardiff seem to be picking up the pace a little.

Lee Tomlin shoots over from a narrow angle, and then Junior Hoilett fires wide with an effort from the edge of the penalty area.

  9. Postpublished at 59 mins

    Cardiff 0-0 Swansea

This second half has not quite served up the blood-and-thunder fare of the first, has it?

The tempo has slowed down, both teams are taking their time on the ball and there's been a lack of incident since the restart.

  10. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Cardiff 0-0 Swansea

Swansea debutant Rhian Brewster did not have much of an influence on the game in the first half - his main contribution was a yellow card.

But since the second half started, the Liverpool loanee has looked a little brighter, getting on the ball more frequently as Swansea look to keep possession.

  11. A brighter start for Swanseapublished at 13:13 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January 2020

    Cardiff 0-0 Swansea

They've started a bit better in this second half, Connor Roberts getting there with the overlap down the right hand side for Swansea.

  12. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Cardiff 0-0 Swansea

Cardiff's Marlon Pack gives away a free-kick in a dangerous wide position for a foul on Swansea right-back Connor Roberts, but Matt Grimes' cross from the resultant free-kick is cleared.

It frightens me, if that’s the direction that Cardiff want to go it’s a huge step backwards. We’ve already got a squad full of Moores.

  14. KICK-OFFpublished at 13:06 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January 2020

    Cardiff 0-0 Swansea

We're back under way in the south Wales derby!

  15. Happy Harrispublished at 13:06 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January 2020

    Cardiff 0-0 Swansea

    Gareth Vincent

You would imagine that Cardiff boss Neil Harris is happier than counterpart Steve Cooper at the midway point.

Cardiff have stopped Swansea playing and as a result they have been able to enjoy plenty of territory.

With Robert Glatzel leading the way for the hosts, Swansea have creaked a little defensively.

Cooper will urge his players to look after the ball better after the break, while Harris will presumably demand more of the same in the belief that the breakthrough will come if the Bluebirds continue to apply pressure.

  16. A more entertaining south Wales derby than the lastpublished at 13:03 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January 2020

This was missing at the Liberty, it's much better this game.

This is probably the best I've seen Cardiff City with the ball, we're seeing why Robert Glatzel was brought to Cardiff. I think they'll be the happier dressing room at the half.

Tomlin, Pack and CelinaImage source, Huw Evans Picture Agency

It's been competitive, there have been bookings. The end product has been good from both teams it just needs the finishing now.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 12:50 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January 2020

    Cardiff 0-0 Swansea

And breathe! That's the end of the first half.

There have been chances at both ends, yellow cards and the fleeting threat of a mass brawl - but still no goals.

Cardiff have been the better side but Swansea have come closest to scoring with Bersant Celina hitting the post.

    This match is finely poised.

  19. Postpublished at 41 mins

    Cardiff 0-0 Swansea

Swansea centre-back Ben Cabango is looking a little nervous in his first south Wales derby.

The 19-year-old has made a couple of rash challenges and, after getting booked for his altercation with Robert Glatzel, he concedes a free-kick for another foul on the Cardiff striker.

Lee Tomlin floats the free-kick into the Swansea box, but Sean Morrison's header is high and wide.

  20. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 38 mins

    Cardiff 0-0 Swansea

Cardiff fans appeal for a penalty as Junior Hoilett falls under a challenge from Swansea's Andre Ayew, but the Ghanaian got the ball with his sliding tackle.

Tempers are fraying at Cardiff City Stadium.
