Just when we thought Leeds had recovered from their wobble by coming back to beat Millwall in midweek, they lose 1-0 at home to Wigan to be knocked back off top.

West Brom beat Luton to replace them while Fulham are within three points of Leeds after winning 3-2 against Huddersfield.

Bristol City and Brentford both won this afternoon - at QPR and Hull respectively - to close the gap to fourth-placed Nottingham Forest to one point after they were beaten at Birmingham.

• Eoin Doyle is back among the goals as Swindon Town extend their lead at the top of the fourth tier with victory over Exeter City.
• The Grecians drop down to fourth after Plymouth win at home to Newport County and Crewe Alexandra come from behind to beat Walsall.
• At the bottom, Stevenage remain four points adrift after a thumping 3-0 defeat by Leyton Orient.
• In a delayed kick-off, Oldham Athletic lead Bradford City 3-0 with just over 10 minutes still to play.

Let's not talk any more about that scoreline at Portman Road.

Moving on to League Two....

• Sammie Szmodics scores twice as Peterborough thrash Ipswich 4-1 at Portman Road to move above them into third.
• Leaders Rotherham beat Burton 3-2 to move three points clear, as second-placed Wycombe lose 2-0 at MK Dons.
• Bottom two Bolton and Southend both win, against Tranmere and Lincoln respectively.

• West Brom reclaim the lead in the Championship with their first league win in eight games, beating Luton 2-0.
• Leeds are knocked off the summit following a surprise home defeat by Wigan after a Pablo Hernandez own goal for the visitors.
• Fulham race into a 3-0 lead and then just about hang on to beat Huddersfield 3-2 and move up to third in the process.

At one stage they were cruising at 3-0 but it was Huddersfield who nearly completed a comeback.

Charlton claim the huge three points down towards the drop zone, but only just.

They added on four minutes of stoppage time, they actually played more like seven!

Wigan upset the odds well and truly and Leeds lose their claim on top spot.

Sub Hayden Coulson salvages Boro a draw at home to Blackburn, but it could have been all three points.

Christian Walton made a sublime save from Rudy Gestede's header late on to ensure Blackburn didn't come away from the Riverside empty-handed.

Famara Diedhiou's 16th-minute header is enough to give Bristol City a fourth successive win.

Birmingham come from behind to win and deny Forest the chance to go second.

Scott Sinclair opened the scoring with his first Preston goal against his former side, but Rhian Brewster earned Swansea a point.

Southend were pegged back by Lincoln but Sol Campbell's side are back ahead in injury time through Elvis Bwomono!

Surely they cannot mount a great escape this season?

Well, we wait for the result from Elland Road, but one thing for sure is they have won for the first time in eight Championship games.
