    Leeds v Wigan (15:00 GMT)

Leeds United, who seemed at one point to be absolutely cruising to automatic promotion to the Premier League, have endured a tough couple of months.

And it looked as though that wibble was set to keep on wobbling at about 21:00 on Tuesday, when Marcelo Bielsa's Whites found themselves 2-0 down at home to Millwall.

As it was, the evening may well turn out to be a season-defining one, as Leeds overturned that two-goal deficit to win 3-2.

In desperate need of back-to-back victories, a visit from lowly Wigan Athletic to Elland Road today is - with all due respect to the Latics - exactly the sort of game Leeds will feel they simply must win.

Thank you James, top effort there.

Brentford look a bit handy don't they, but I think a few of us already knew that.

Now we turn attentions to a full programme across the EFL with games kicking-off in the next 25 minutes or so.

That was the Said Benrahma show, ladies and gentlemen.

Brentford up to fourth, mid-table Hull taught a lesson without Jarrod Bowen and Kamil Grosicki.

It's time to turn our attention to the 15:00 GMT games - Adam Williams and Brendon Mitchell will help me take you through the next few hours...

    Quote Message

I think we punished them today - it could've been more in the first half. We want to try to do something special this season by getting promoted. It's been a hard week for Said, losing his dad - we've all been supporting him and it's great he got those three goals.

    Hull 1-5 Brentford

Boos ring out inside the KCOM Stadium.

Brentford didn't even need a five-star performance to bag a five-goal haul, though hat-trick hero Said Benrahma certainly showed himself to be a Premier League prospect.

    Hull 1-5 Brentford

The mesmerising Said Benrahma is getting a bit greedy, swirling a shot over when his team-mates were better placed.

But after the game he's had who can blame him?

  11. INJURY TIMEpublished at 90+2 mins

    Hull 1-5 Brentford

We have three minutes added on here.

Mathias Jensen sees a long-range blast beaten away by Hull keeper George Long, before sub Halil Dervisoglu comes within a whisker of getting on the end of a low cross.

    Brentford fans want six!

    Hull 1-5 Brentford

Thomas Frank's Brentford are playing keep-ball now, this game has been very much played to their tune.

A good wedge of the Hull support have departed, wondering where their season is heading now.

    Said Benrahma (85 mins)

Hull v BrentfordImage source, Rex Features

It's a hat-trick for Said Benrahma on what's been an emotional afternoon for the forward.

Joel Valencia's effort is saved but the rebound falls straight to the Algerian, who guides the ball into the roof of the net.

Benrahma celebrated his first by revealing a message for his father, who passed away last month, and could also have been red-carded for an off-the-ball incident in the first half.

    Hull 1-4 Brentford

Hull are playing out from the back but are having to eventually go long as they don't have enough in midfield to trouble Brentford, who continue to press high.

The Bees have confirmed in this second half that they're a classy outfit, who shouldn't be discounted in the automatic promotion race.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 82 mins

    Hull 1-4 Brentford

That was more like it from Marcus Maddison - the playmaker certainly makes things happen.

Brentford's defenders back off him and his looping long-range effort needs to be tipped over by David Raya, who has looked assured since his first-half blunder.

The Bees replace goalscorer Ollie Watkins with Halil Dervisoglu.

  16. Postpublished at 80 mins

    Hull 1-4 Brentford

Hull new-boy Marcus Maddison decides to shoot from a free-kick 30 yards out and the ball goes almost 30 yards over.

The former Peterborough man is capable of the extraordinary but that was well off the mark.

  17. CLOSE!published at 78 mins

    Hull 1-4 Brentford

Brentford sub Joel Valencia has two close-range strikes cleared off the line - the visitors are toying with Hull.

Grant McCann's side surely want this game to end as soon as possible!

  18. Postpublished at 76 mins

    Hull 1-4 Brentford

Marcus Maddison's speculative shot goes wide as Hull still search for a first shot on target (we can't count the goal, can we?).

Brentford threaten again, Emiliano Marcondes' effort deflected wide for a corner which is eventually cleared.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 73 mins

    Hull 1-4 Brentford

It's time for Brentford to turn to their bench - Joel Valencia replacing Bryan Mbeumo and Emiliano Marcondes on for Josh Dasilva.

The Bees will rise to fourth as it stands, three points behind second-placed West Brom.

There are only just over 10,000 fans inside the 25,000-capacity KCOM Stadium this afternoon.

Hull have just sold their two most influential players and are staring a fifth defeat in a row in the face.

Can they give anything to boost morale in this final 20 minutes?
