    Brentford 1-0 Middlesbrough

It was a fairly even first half at Griffin Park, where Middlesbrough gave a decent account of themselves despite trailing.

Boro have former Manchester United attacker Ravel Morrison on the bench for the first time this afternoon - could he come on and sparkle?

    Tony ParkesImage source, Rex Features

Among the matches to have reached the midway point is Blackburn against Fulham, where Tony Parkes is in attendance.

Former Blackburn Rovers player and coach Parkes revealed he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease earlier this week.

Alongside his daughter Natalie, Parkes opened up to BBC Radio Lancashire Sport to raise awareness of the condition.

He came out on to the pitch to huge applause before the game.

Half-time whistles are being sounded up and down the country as I type, so we'll be rounding up the best of the action so far shortly.

  8. goal

GOAL: Stoke 1-1 Charltonpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Ben Purrington (45+1 mins)

    Charlton level!

Andre Green with some great work out wide and cross for left-back Ben Purrington, who makes a fine run and gets the crucial touch on the stretch to divert the ball in. That's his first goal since the opening day of the season.

    That'll make Lee Bowyer's half-time teamtalk easier.

  9. Postpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Swansea 0-0 Derby

Swansea nearly pinch themselves an equaliser!

Joe Rodon meets Matt Grimes' set-piece, but it's turned away by Rams goalkeeper Ben Hamer. Unlucky.

Still Derby lead through Martyn Waghorn's goal.

  10. Wycombe strike twice morepublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    League One latest

Wycombe's form has been mixed of late but they've responded perfectly to being pegged back by Bristol Rovers - Darius Charles and Matt Bloomfield scoring in the space of three minutes to put the Chairboys 3-1 up.

That would keep them three points behind leaders Rotherham, who won at Lincoln last night.

  11. Exeter lead bottom side Stevenagepublished at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    League Two latest

While Plymouth now find themselves 3-0 down at promotion rivals Colchester, their Devon rivals Exeter have gone ahead at home to basement side Stevenage thanks to Randell Williams.

If results stay like that Exeter will move back above the Pilgrims.

  12. Postpublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Brentford 1-0 Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough have responded reasonably well to going behind at Brentford, as Marcus Tavernier fires a shot straight at David Raya.

As things stand, the Bees are set to go third.

  13. Posh on course for another winpublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    League One latest

After a patchy festive spell Peterborough are on their way towards a fifth successive victory, Siriki Dembele scoring the opener against Oxford after good work from Ivan Toney and Sammie Szmodics.

Elsewhere, Shane McLoughlin has levelled for AFC Wimbledon against Fleetwood and Southend have fallen behind at Blackpool - Armand Gnanduillet with the goal.

Just as I say that, QPR have struck the post.

Grant Hall rises highest to meet a corner but can only glance his attempt against the woodwork.

  15. Postpublished at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Huddersfield 0-0 QPR

There's not been loads of goalmouth action up in West Yorkshire, either, but it'd be remiss of us not to note this touching moment.

Both sets of fans marked the recent death of former Huddersfield player Jordan Sinnott with warm applause in the 25th minute.

    Blackburn 0-0 Fulham

And now Aleksandar Mitrovic has just blazed an effort wide... from inside his own half. If ever a single moment summed up half an hour of football.

  17. Colchester double lead against Plymouthpublished at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    League Two latest

Colchester were on a 16-game unbeaten run before defeat at Cambridge last weekend and are bouncing back in style - Theo Robinson putting them 2-0 up against third-placed Plymouth.

A John McAtee goal sees managerless Scunthorpe in front against play-off hopefuls Cheltenham.

  18. Postpublished at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Blackburn 0-0 Fulham

Just three goals in seven 15:00 GMT kick-offs so far in the Championship - not exactly inspiring stuff, is it?

Fulham are continuing to press at Ewood Park, but Bobby Decordova-Reid's deflected effort is tipped over the bar by Blackburn goalkeeper Christian Walton.

  19. goal

GOAL: Stoke 1-0 Charltonpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    James McClean (28 mins)

Charlton haven't won away in the league since August and they've got that sinking feeling again.

Sam Clucas' free-kick is headed across goal by Nick Powell for James McClean to tap in at the back post and put in-form Stoke ahead.

  20. FULL-TIMEpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Barnsley 1-1 Sheff Wed

A result that does little for either of these South Yorkshire rivals.

Wednesday took the lead through debutant Josh Windass before Cauley Woodrow equalsied for the hosts.

Barnsley remain firmly in the relegation zone, while the Owls' play-off hopes are fading.
