Huddersfield will be looking to put some distance between themselves and the relegation zone when they hose out-of-form QPR.

Bottom side Luton's task to stay in the division looks to be getting more difficult with every passing week and they really need to take all three points against mid-table Cardiff.

Speaking of mid-table, it's 16th v 15th as Reading host Hull City, with the Tigers looking to end a run of four straight defeats.

There's a big clash down at the bottom of the table, with Stoke City desperate to for a win against relegation rivals Charlton.

Play-off chasers Swansea City host a Derby team who have the division's second-best home record but third-worst away record. Home banker?

Still level at Oakwell but chances for both teams at the start of the second half.

First, Conor Chaplin's low cross was well cleared by the visitors and then, at the other end, Fernando Forestieri was denied by good defending from the home side.

Brentford's final season at Griffin Park looks like it could be shaping up to be quite farewell.

With 16 Championship game remaining, the fifth-placed Bees are in contention to win promotion to the Premier League for the first time.

The play-offs might look more likely at the moment but they could close the gap on second-placed Leeds, who they host in midweek, to two points with victory today.

Thomas Frank's men face a Middlesbrough side who are without a win in four and could be in danger of getting dragged back into the relegation battle.

  4. Can Whites apply some pressure?published at 14:42 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Blackburn v Fulham (15:00 GMT)

Fulham's automatic promotion hopes have fluctuated all too regularly this season.

The Whites, who started the season as one of the favourites to go up to the Premier League, found themselves 12 points off the top two in the middle of December after a run of three straight defeats.

However, an upturn in form, which has coincided with sticky patches for both Leeds and West Brom, means victory at Ewood Park today would see Scott Parker's men go level on points with second-placed Leeds.

With Leeds playing in today's late kick-off at fellow promotion hopefuls Nottingham Forest, this is a great opportunity for Fulham to put themselves right back in contention at the top of the table.

Blackburn go into the game unbeaten in four and still have an outside chance of making a run at the play-offs.

Chey Dunkley pulled one back for Wigan - who gave it everything - but the Latics remain two points from safety and must anxiously watch the rest of their relegation rivals play this afternoon.

It's level at the break in the South Yorkshire derby (well, not THE South Yorkshire derby but this one anyway).

Owls debutant Josh Windass gave the visitors an early lead before Cauley Woodrow took advantage of a mistake from Wednesday goalkeeper Cameron Dawson to equalise from long range.

  16. Milestone moment for Downingpublished at 14:21 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Blackburn v Fulham (15:00 GMT)

This feels like a fairly niche stat for former England winger Stewart Downing, but an impressive one nonetheless...

  20. YELLOW CARD (Fisher)published at 85 mins

    Wigan 1-2 Preston

Preston full-back Darnell Fisher gets his 11th yellow card of the season.

They're making errors because of the pressure Wigan are putting them under.
