    That's more like it!

There's no VAR down in the Championship, remember, but we do have goalline technology and Brentford will be glad of that fact right now.

After an almighty scramble inside the six-yard box, it's eventually adjudged to have crossed the line via the referee's trusty watch.

Julian Jeanvier is the man claiming it but don't be surprised if that goes to someone else later. There were a lot of bodies in the way.

  2. Barton's Fleetwood lead Wimbledonpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    League One latest

Southend are the only side in the bottom four not trailing, with Luke O'Neill's own goal putting AFC Wimbledon behind at home to Fleetwood.

The Shrimpers started the day 12 points from safety - surely Sol Campbell can't mastermind another great escape?

Where are all the goals, by the way?!

  4. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Brentford 0-0 Middlesbrough

    How are Brentford not ahead?

After some good work from Said Benrahma, Josh Dasilva nods against the post and the ball bounces agonisingly along the goalline before Dael Fry boots it away.

  5. Postpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Luton 0-0 Cardiff

What a chance this is for Luton to go in front!

Harry Cornick races through on goal but the Hatters winger can only place his shot wide of the target.

If Barnsley fail to beat Sheffield Wednesday - a game which continues to edge towards full-time having kicked off at 13:30 GMT - Luton would move off the bottom with a win here.

There's not been too much to shout about at Ewood Park, where Fulham are hoping to go level on points with second-placed Leeds with a victory this afternoon.

Denis Odoi has just seen a header turned away by goalkeeper Christian Walton as the Cottagers look to extend their unbeaten run in the Championship to five games.

To remind you, Leeds face Nottingham Forest at 17:30 GMT today, a game we'll bring you live text coverage of later.

  7. Leaders Swindon aheadpublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    League Two latest

Rarmani Edmonds-Green has put leaders Swindon a goal to the good at Carlisle, after a corner fell his way.

Elsewhere in the promotion picture Ben Stevenson has Colchester ahead against in-form Plymouth.

  8. Postpublished at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Luton 0-0 Cardiff

It's been set-piece central at Kenilworth Road, with Cardiff unable to capitilise on a string of early corners before Izzy Brown fires a couple of free-kick attempts straight into the wall at the other end.

The struggling Hatters have won just one of their past 10 games, by the way.

  9. The Beast strikespublished at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    League One latest

Adebayo Akinfenwa may be 37 but he's still doing the business, putting second-placed Wycombe a goal up against Bristol Rovers.

Portsmouth are ahead at struggling Tranmere - Sean Raggett heading in.

In the clash of the titans in League One, Sunderland have the ball in the net through Charlie Wyke but the striker is flagged offside.

We think more than 30,000 fans are at the Stadium of Light this afternoon.

    Brentford 0-0 Middlesbrough

It's been a really decent start at Griffin Park, where Middlesbrough are having a go at Brentford.

But the Bees, who've been on fire in front of goal this season and smashed five past Hull last week, have come closest through Henrik Dalsgaard's long-range attempt.

  11. goal

GOAL: Swansea 0-1 Derbypublished at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Martyn Waghorn (8 mins)

It's been all Swansea at the Liberty Stadium... but Derby have scored the game's first goal.

Tom Lawrence lets fly from distance and, with his effort swerving all over the shop, the goalkeeper can only tip it onto the post... and straight into the path of Martyn Waghorn.

The former Rangers forward doesn't miss from there.

  12. Postpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Huddersfield 0-0 QPR

QPR, now without striker Nahki Wells after his move to Bristol City, are up against it a bit in the early stages at Huddersfield.

Lewis O'Brien has come closest to breaking the deadlock, firing just wide from the edge of the box.

  13. Doncaster and Coventry strike earlypublished at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    League One latest

Promotion-chasing Doncaster and Coventry aren't messing about.

Jon Taylor has put Rovers one-up against Rochdale while the Sky Blues lead lowly Bolton thanks to Amadou Bakayoko's goal.

    Both goals within three minutes.

  14. Postpublished at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Reading 0-0 Hull

We mentioned there were a few debutants knocking around today... And one of them has nearly grabbed themselves an early goal at the KCOM!

Hull City's Marcus Maddison, making his first Tigers start after arriving on loan from Peterborough on deadline day, has just seen a shot tipped onto the post.

Stuart McCall's last spell as Bradford City boss ended in February 2018

Bradford City sacked boss Gary Bowyer on Monday after a run of seven games without a win.

The new guy in charge probably won't have any trouble getting settled in. Stuart McCall, who first joined the West Yorkshire side as a player in 1980, was appointed Bantams boss for the third time on Tuesday.

He'll be looking to get their promotion push back on track with a home win against Grimsby while leaders Swindon face a long trip up to Carlisle and it's sixth v third as Colchester host Plymouth.

Sammie Szmodics scored twice as Peterborough thrashed promotion rivals Ipswich 4-1 last week

There's no doubt about the most eye-catching game in the third tier today.

Sunderland and Ipswich started the season as two of the favourites to win promotion back to the Championship. It's fair to say it's been a rather bumpier ride than either set of fans will have been expecting and both go into today's game off the back of a defeat, with Paul Lambert's men smarting after being thumped 4-1 at home by Peterborough last time out.

Elsewhere, the Posh host Oxford, while second-placed Wycombe host Bristol Rovers.

Here's all of today's League One fixtures, with all games kicking off at 15:00 GMT:

    • Wimbledon v Fleetwood
    • Blackpool v Southend
    • Burton v Gillingham
    • Coventry v Bolton
    • Doncaster v Rochdale
    • Peterborough v Oxford Utd
    • Shrewsbury v MK Dons
    • Sunderland v Ipswich
    • Tranmere v Portsmouth
    • Wycombe v Bristol Rovers
