Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes tells BBC Scotland: "We want Matty Kennedy to do what he’s been doing. He’s a good ball carrier, gets you up the pitch. He’s a goal threat. We’ve missed that type of player, we’ve missed that speed.
"We’ve always been a team who normally play with one striker and two wide players who chip in. We’re just looking for the quality in the final third.

"You look at the Old Firm, they have good players but it’s not until Edouard comes on maybe yesterday they show their quality, Morelos is key for Rangers, and over the last year Cosgrove’s goal-scoring record has been incredible. But the others, especially from the sides, need to take more responsibility."

The two sides have a Premiership victory apiece in their previous clashes this season.
Sam Cosgrove and Niall McGinn were on target in Aberdeen's 2-1 win at Pittodrie in November.
And Ilkay Durmus fired home the only goal of the game as the Buddies triumphed when the sides locked horns in Paisley last August.

St Mirren manager Jim Goodwin tells BBC Scotland that his side will look to exploit their pace in wide areas as they adopt a more attacking formation.
"We set up in a way at Ibrox to try to frustrate Rangers [in the 1-0 loss in midweek] and limit their opportunities and I thought we did that," he says.
"We played a back five on the night, which is not something we are going to do today, so Paul McGinn drops back out.

"We revert to our natural back four and we've put Tony Andreu in to play off of John Obika and hopefully he can find pockets of space that will allow us to take the game to Aberdeen.
"Derek McInnes has come in for a bit of unfair criticism. The job he has done at Aberdeen in the last six or seven years is quite incredible, considering where he took them from.
"They are one of the biggest clubs in the country and that comes with a level of expectation from their supporters, but they have a good squad and have made a good signing in Matty Kennedy and we have to try to stop the supply up to Sam Cosgrove."
