    England 0-0 Spain

Realistically for Phil Neville's side, this match was all about morale and ending the tournament on a positive note.

And, performance wise, it has been spot on for England after 45 minutes - but they need to start making more of their chances if they are to find a breakthrough against Spain.

The second half will be under way shortly.

It's been England's best performance of the tournament. They are beating Spain at their own game but are missing the ruthlessness Phil Neville has been craving for a while. No Bethany England to come on off the bench but Everton top scorer Chloe Kelly is available.

No goals, but plenty of promise from England in that first half.

Ellen White perhaps had the best chance, but shot just over.

    Here's that opportunity again...

And that is that for the first half of England's final SheBelieves Cup game.

Nikita Parris pops up on the left wing now and picks out Ellen White but the England striker is too far from goal for her header to trouble Sandra Panos.

That should be that for the first half.

Leila Ouahabi is going to have to be very careful.

Already on a yellow card, she barges into the back of Nikita Parris following a throw-in. She'll only get away with so many of those...

Jordan Nobbs was furious with herself after that pass through to Ellen White didn't come off. She has such high standards.

But that's what England have been lacking in this half - that final cutting edge pass. Lots of promise but no end product is the theme.

Spain certainly look in no hurry in possession.

When Spain do get on the ball, England are having to remain rather patient, but when they Phil Neville's side win it back they look very dangerous.

They need to find a way past Sandra Panos, though, as the Spain goalkeeper is quick off her line again to smother Jordan Nobbs' pass as the Lionesses threaten.

    England 0-0 Spain

England are beginning to assert themselves on this match now and are attempting to win the ball high up the pitch with Spain determined to play out from the back.

Phil Neville will be delighted to see the fluidity in attack - but given the chances his side have had, he'll want a goal before half-time.

How did that not go in? It's about getting into positions and picking out a pass. Ellen White and Nikita Parris were both in there.

England have to take one of these chances very soon.

    Great chance for England!

Ellen White and Nikita Parris cause issues once more for Spain.

With bodies flying around to block potential shots, the ball eventually rolls into the path of Parris but she's closed down in a flash just a few yards from goal.

Unconvincing defending from Spain but they manage to get the job done.

Nikita Parris takes a quick free-kick but is left frustrated as the referee whistles for it to be retaken a few yards further back with England on the attack.

Technically all of the Spain players are very good on the ball and very happy to receive it under any circumstances.

I think England have been good defensively though. I think Phil Neville's decision to play Leah Williamson in midfield has worked.

    England 0-0 Spain

England are playing much more direct than Spain, with the runs of Nikita Parris in particular always looking on for the Lionesses.

They force Spain back but Maria Pilar Leon beats Ellen White to a cross to relieve the pressure.

England have been the better team, that's for sure. Nikita Parris is causing all kinds of problems on that right. Toni Duggan hasn't been able to get involved on the opposite side though.

    England 0-0 Spain

Spain are patient with their build-up and slowly but surely make their way towards Carly Telford's penalty area.

There are plenty of white shirts up for Spain as they win a throw-in high up the pitch, but poor play from Amanda Sampedro sees any potential end result slip away.

Daniel: The earlier move which led to Ellen White's chance was the best bit of play I've seen from England for a long time. Great stuff.

A solid punch out by Sandra Panos abruptly ends that England opportunity.

    What pace!

Nikita Parris breaks clear after a great one-two with Ellen White.

Parris sees her initial shot blocked and earns a corner with her second attempt.

What can England do with this?

After the first game it increased the pressure on Phil Neville and his side. They were playing against the best team in the world and I always thought that would be difficult. The main thing is that they are peaking for major tournaments.
