Both Phil Neville and Spain boss Jorge Vilda are right on the touchline and have had plenty to say so far as their side's battle for control of this match.

Spain are enjoying a good spell of possession close to the halfway line with England refusing to conceded too much territory.

Millie Bright does really well to cut out a low cross from the right as Lucia Garcia threatens to cause trouble in the England box.

Bright concedes a corner, but it's easily dealt with.

England are keeping the ball well and they have certainly created a couple of good chances. It's been a decent start. It's coming for Ellen White, who has looked dangerous.

Ellen White is looking very, very dangerous.

Nikita Parris attempts to find her this time, but there's just too much on her pass for White to catch up to it.

The one player you want to be in position to take that shot is Ellen White! England have been able to get in behind a few times now. That's very promising given how well Spain held out against the USA on Sunday.

A first decent chance for either side falls to England, as Jill Scott finds the feet of Ellen White who charges at the Spain goal.

Under pressure, White can't find the target, firing over the bar and Spain survive for now.

Leila Ouahabi, who was just beaten for skill and pace by Nikita Parris, receives the first yellow card of the match.

That area is something for Parris to now look to exploit even further.

Nikita Parris has looked very lively, making several runs down the right and cutting in on her left.

She did it superbly then but the ball just flashed too far ahead of Toni Duggan.

Once again, it was Jordan Nobbs (who was very impressive against Japan), who carved up the space with a smart pass out to Parris on the right.

Nikita Parris runs at Leila Ouahabi from the right flank and leaves the Spanish left-back behind.

Parris opts to shoot rather than pick out a team-mate, though, and sends her effort wide of the far post.

A bit of action for Carly Telford now, who comfortably catches a cross from the right that had drifted just too close to the England goalkeeper.

This game was always going to be a competition for possession. Spain love to keep the ball and dominate the midfield but Neville said this week he wanted his players to take the game to them. That ball through from Millie Bright was the right idea, Ellen White just needed to time her run better.

Millie Bright picks out the run of Ellen White with a lovely ball over the top of the Spain defence, but White just began her run a second too soon and is flagged for offside.

Great vision and almost the perfect ball from Bright.

England knock the ball around nicely at the back without getting too far up the field.

Spain are doing a lot of chasing early on but are doing a good job of breaking up the play.

A bright start by Spain who put early pressure on the England defence with some quick pressing, but Carly Telford is quick off her line and deals with the ball down the middle.

We have made changes where we need freshness. We have rested Steph [Houghton] who has been fantastic so her and Millie [Bright] will probably get 45 minutes each.

"It's also a chance to give others like Abbie McManus a chance. We want to get some of the youngsters on who have made a big impact on this trip.

"I think it is good to leave the tournament in a good feeling. We want a real momentum shift, with that comes a good performance and a good victory. It won't be enough to win the tournament I am fairly sure of that."
