With second-placed Coventry not in action until tomorrow, when they host fellow promotions hopefuls Sunderland, league leaders Rotherham will be hopeful of stretching their lead at the top when they host struggling MK Dons.

Elsewhere, third-placed Wycombe visit Doncaster and the game between lowly Tranmere and inform Fleetwood has been postponed.

Here's all of today's League One games, with all matches kicking off at 15:00 GMT:

Struggling Huddersfield and Charlton, who both start the day two points clear of the bottom three, meet at the John Smith's Stadium.

Reading have won just once since New Year's Day and fell to a heavy defeat by Wigan on Wednesday so they could probably do without a visit from Barnsley, who have won their past three.

  3. Elsewhere in the Championship (the play-off hopefuls)published at 14:44 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

It's eighth v ninth as Blackburn Rovers host Swansea City, with both teams needing a victory to get a play-off bid back on track.

Cardiff's hopes of a top-six finish have been hit by a run of three games without a win but they'll be hoping to put that right against fifth-placed Brentford who are winless in four.

A run of three successive defeats has seen Bristol City drop to seventh and they'll be targeting three points at Millwall today.

QPR host Birmingham City in a clash between 13th and 14th... I'm not gonna lie, there doesn't seem to be a huge amount riding on this one.

Sheffield Wednesday registered a first home win since 22 December thanks to a late winner against Charlton on Wednesday and they'll fancy their chances of making it back-to-back home wins given they host a Derby side who have the second worst away record in the division.

  4. Hope for Hatters?published at 14:41 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

    Luton v Stoke

There can't have been many matchdays in any league this season where the bottom three teams have all won.

That's what happened in the Championship in midweek as Luton, Barnsley and Wigan all recorded victories

The Hatters recorded an impressive 2-1 win over play-off hopefuls Brentford on Tuesday to pick up a third success in five matches.

They'll be hoping to make it four from six against a Stoke side who start the day just one point above the relegation zone.

Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic had a penalty saved before scoring a stoppage-time winner against Swansea on Wednesday

Fulham recorded a last-minute winner against Swansea on Wednesday night to remain five points behind second-placed Leeds.

However, the Whites' thumping 4-0 win at Hull earlier today means Scott Parker's men again find themselves needing just to stay in relative contact with the Elland Road side.

They host a Preston side whose own slim automatic promotion hopes were dented by a 2-0 defeat at table-topping West Brom in midweek.

However, victory for the sixth placed Lillywhites today would at least see them close to within a point of Fulham.

  6. Bouncing Baggies take on lively Laticspublished at 14:31 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

    West Brom v Wigan

    WiganImage source, Rex Features

A few weeks ago this fixture might have looked like a mere formality.

However, while Wigan might start today's game at the table-toppers in the relegation zone few people will be writing the Latics off.

A run of four wins from seven games, including Wednesday's 3-0 win at Reading, means that Paul Cook's side will move out of the bottom three for the first time since November if they avoid defeat at the Hawthorns today.

After a poor January, Albion are in excellent form themselves with four wins in their past five games.

    Hull City 0-4 Leeds

Probably just about as comprehensive as the scoreline suggests in the end.

Second-placed Leeds took an early lead through Luke Ayling's deflected effort but the rest of the first half was fairly uneventful.

Pablo Hernandez made it 2-0 just after the restart and two late goals from sub Tyler Roberts wrapped it up.

Marcelo Bielsa's men are now eight points clear of third-placed Fulham.

Injury-hit Hull are without a win in 10 league games and could be in real trouble after today's 15:00 GMT games.

  11. Postpublished at 86 mins

    Hull City 0-4 Leeds

It's maybe a harsh scoreline on Hull City who battled well in the first half after a bad start.

However, the facts are that they are now going to be without a league win in 10 and this result is really going to hit their goal difference.

    Game, set and match.

Leeds have just been on a different level this half and they have the third goal their play has merited.

    Hull City 0-2 Leeds

Hull have a free-kick 25 yards from the Leeds goal but Robbie McKenzie's weak effort goes straight into the wall and Leeds look to break away.

They've got three on two but Jack Harrison's low centre is cut out by Callum Elder, much to the Manchester City loanee's evident frustration.
