  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 72 mins

    Forest 0-3 Millwall

Joao Carvalho comes off and Tyler Walker takes his place. A forward for a number 10 for an increasingly desperate Forest.

  2. Postpublished at 70 mins

    Forest 0-3 Millwall

Better from Forest as Sammy Ameobi and Yuri Ribeiro combine on the left and when Millwall fail to clear Joao Carvalho is clumsily challenged by Shaun Hutchinson. Forest scream penalty, as does boss Sabri Lamouchi. It looked a decent shout that. Nothing given though.

Andy Tilly: Super Millwall. We deserve what we get, Championship side at best for another season. Been saying it for weeks not strong enough or good enough.

Millwall are not doing a great deal of closing down in the Forest half but they are soon about their business when Forest move forward with any purpose.

Forest win a free-kick out wide on the Millwall right.

It's worked to John Bostock and he has a good old-fashioned whack that is rather awkwardly pushed away by keeper Bartosz Bialkowski. He has had almost nothing to do.

We are three quarters of the way through the game now.

  5. Postpublished at 65 mins

    Forest 0-3 Millwall

Millwall are threatening goal number four. Shane Ferguson swings in a corner from the right, this time to the front post, and Jake Cooper races in to meet it, but sends the ball wide.

    So, so simple once again.

  6. Postpublished at 63 mins

    Forest 0-3 Millwall

There's been plenty to admire in attack from Millwall. Jed Wallace and Jayson Molumby are both involved on their right flank and Forest have to defend a deep cross with Matt Smith loitering at the far post.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 61 mins

    Forest 0-3 Millwall

Millwall boss Gary Rowett makes his first change.

Wales international Tom Bradshaw replaces Mason Bennett, whose exit, as a former Derby player, is greeted with plenty of boos and jeers.

Bennett looked shattered and Bradshaw has eight goals this season. Seemingly a smart move.

Ian Jackson: This is what I hate about the end of the season, just found myself cheering Millwall goals. Matt Smith you're Leeds and you know you are.

Adam White: Our fans need to stop living in the past. We're not European champions anymore. We're a Championship club with a great fanbase that has to work for promotion like any other club in the division. We are not granted immediate success!

    Forest 0-3 Millwall

Millwall's defending has been superb and they have ridden a mini-storm from the home side.

As things stand the Lions will be just two points of the play-off places and only six behind fourth-placed Forest.

    Forest 0-3 Millwall

Joao Carvalho has a couple of attempts to send in a cross from the left, first with a corner and then with when the ball comes back to him.

Both attempts are not up to scratch and are cleared at the near post.

Sammy Ameobi then streaks away on the same flank after a defensive area and just whacks the ball towards the far post and it's cleared for another Carvalho corner. It's a better delivery but is easily cleared.

    Excellent pressure from Forest.

    Forest 0-3 Millwall

Commendable backing from the Reds supporters who are still singing their manager's name with gusto. John Bostiock has looked good in possession since coming on and Forest are seeing plenty of the ball.

It's Joao Carvalho's turn to shoot high and wide. This one wasn't particularly close.

    Forest 0-3 Millwall

Sabri Lamouchi's name rings echoes around the City Ground.

The Forest fans are not turning on their side. One goal and it could all change. That's their hope.

But Millwall are such an imposing physical side and are winning most of the battles at the moment.

Joe Lolley plays a couple of one-twos on the edge of the Milllwall box but hammers his shot off target. It wasn't too far away.

A Gary Rowett side will not be doing anything silly here. Millwall have matched a robust approach with some real moments of quality and were well on top for the majority of that first period.

They have defended with little alarm and restricted the threat from Joe Lolley, Sammy Ameobi, Lewis Grabban and Joao Carvalho.

Carvalho gets away on the left and has a half-hearted claim for a penalty as Jake Cooper challenges. He got a bit of the ball and then a little bit of the Portuguese but it never looked like a spot-kick.

  14. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Forest 0-3 Millwall

Forest have brought on John Bostock for Alfa Semedo at the break.

He was football's bright young thing a few years back. He'll have to produce something pretty special to help his new club get back into this game.

    HT: Forest 0-3 Millwall

Matt Smith has been claiming a hat-trick which would mean he has 11 goals for the season and has overtaken Jed Wallace as Millwall's top scorer.

It would be harsh on Jayson Molumby who struck a fine shot goalwards for the second goal, but it definitely took a tiny nick of Smith on its way in.

And I am just throwing this out there. Smith's hat-trick goal, had VAR been a thing in the second-tier, I reckon would not be given. Smith headed it down on to his own arm and it rolled in from a yard or two.

The players will be back out imminently.

Aaron George: Very disappointing first half from @NFFC, external against a very good @MillwallFC, external side. Forest need a huge push of confidence going into the second half if we're to get anything out of this match. If Prem football is the aim for next season, need to get our act together.

Who's dropping out of the Championship?

My esteemed colleague Adam Williams, external has been a busy chap this week, as well as all his normal duties he's been compiling a Championship relegation piece.

Six of the current bottom seven clubs face each other on Saturday, including Middlesbrough and Charlton Athletic. Respective bosses manager Jonathan Woodgate and Lee Bowyer (pictured above) could certainly do with a reason to smile.

A win for either of the former Leeds United team-mates would be massive.

It's a pivotal weekend, no doubt about it. Have a read of the following while we take a breather from the action at the City Ground.

Pretty much the perfect half for Millwall that.

Can Forest turn this around? The first-half performance doesn't suggest so and there's more than a smattering of boos from home fans at the City Ground.
