    Sheffield Wednesday 0-1 Manchester City

Sheffield Wednesday haven't had a single effort in the second half, with their only shot in the match coming in the sixth minute.

But it's hard to get a shot on goal if you can't make it into the opponent's half (see below).

Oh dear oh dear Michel Vorm! A real howler as the stand-in keeper forgets his lines and drops a Kenny McLean shot which was straight at him.

Josip Drmic follows it in and just about bundles it over the line.

    Deserved.

There is always the danger that if Sheffield Wednesday push too far up the pitch that Manchester City will just tear them apart. But at some stage Wednesday have to cut loose.

You really feel if City go for it they can get more goals in this game and make sure there is no late opportunity for Sheffield Wednesday.

It's beautiful again from Manchester City, just the way they dissect the move. You expect Mahrez to do better with the final effort again though.

So nearly two. John Stones has a shot turned away from a corner and Sergio Aguero nearly puts the rebound away. Just seconds before Royad Mahrez was again free inside the area but his shot squirmed wide.

It's a wonderful pass and touch but Riyad Mahrez has to do better there. He's got to pick out Sergio Aguero there.

It's difficult to see where Gabriel Jesus fits in when he is playing alongside Sergio Aguero. I'm not sure he wants to play that left-hand role. He's done that but he's come inside a lot this evening. Maybe that's a conscious effort to get him closer to Aguero to try to make that partnership, but the way that Pep Guardiola wants City to play they can never play with two strikers high up the pitch.
